I was lucky enough to try this at whisky fringe last week and was very pleased with It. Loved the rum notes on the nose. The palate is definitely heavy on the cask influence, but the Springbank notes are still there. Lovely stuff all around.

Oh, that's a interesting cask combination! Sadly a SB 21 is here in Switzerland WAY more expensive as £260....😢

Rum casks tend to be a bit divisive but I usually enjoy them…in fact I used it my bottle when blending a Springbank during my visit. Thanks for sharing your thoughts Gav!
