Awesome footage except the wind noise! Nice presentations and Brownies! Last big brown I hooked went down to the weeds and nested in them Had to use my net to push her free and the battle was on again! Ahh the challenges!

Brilliant fishing lads can I ask a question what breaking strain of line do you lads use for these wild lumps your catching.
@springerspanielful3 жыл бұрын
I use a 12foot 5x Maxima tapered leader to which I attatch 3feet of Maxima ultragreen 4lb breaking strain.

A Master class George great fishing ,well done also Tom Daithi and Michael on some cracking big trout. George I wanted to know your thoughts on copolymer vs fluorocarbon for dry fly fishing. Thanks again
@springerspanielful3 жыл бұрын
I've never had much success using flourocarbon and have abandoned it in favour of my longtime favourite Maxima Ultragreen,never lets me down.
@Ger8863 жыл бұрын
Do you use the ultra green for dries and nymphs as well?
@springerspanielful3 жыл бұрын
@@Ger886 Yes,for both.
@Ger8863 жыл бұрын
Thanks George I will give that a go It will be handy to switch from dries to nymphs quickly.

Do you ever use furled leaders or just knotless tapered leaders and what do you think of using furled leaders?
