毛鉤に飛びつくシーンがい最高ですね!また、楽しい動画待っております。 The scene where he jumps on the flies is the best! Looking forward to another fun video.

What all fly fishing videos should aspire to…had almost all the elements of a perfect video. The only thing that was missing is overhead drone footage, but that technology wasn’t available when this video was taken (1990s?). Excellent job!

The one live version Looks like our Eastern Green Drakes, but in the evening here, we’d be fishing a ‘coffin’ fly version (a creamy body w/darker wings) before dark and into the night.

I was surprised to see him fishing a dry may fly downstream?? I’m not surprised the trout refused it, it was unnatural and skating at the end.

You can fish a dry fly down stream, but you need to be careful of drag or skate. With skill you can get a few seconds without either, enough time for a fish to take. Tight lines 🏴

The fish didn't necessarily feed on adults or/and mayflies.

Auch beim fischen muß Mann ein bisschen entspannen sein oder ein bisschen lachen usw. Aber hier fehlt einfach alles.

Thank you for that , I watched in the mid winter and look forward to spring. I would warn you though that all men die one day, and when you get to heaven on judgement day God and Jesus will sit either side of Frederic Halford, who will be cross when he hears you fished downstream with a dry fly. After all three confer you will be sent to a place where you will never be cold again, in fact very very hot! All the best from the U.K., and to everyone else in the fellowship of fly fishing the world over.
