Gun's gun's gun's! That's all you guy's talk about, and I love it. I love this pistol. In your last video about the Henry 44mag I mentioned for bear about a hard cast bullet would be best, but I was thinking about Buffalo bore and Underwood 340 grain +p which are awesome. That shouldn't be shot out of a Henry I don't think, check with Henry. Another great round is the Xtreme penetrator round. You don't want to blow up a Henry. Great video gentleman!

The stock fiber optic that was installed on my EMP4 by springfield walked out the first few rounds of underwood extreme penetrators first time i shot em. replaced it with the green fiber optic they supplied in the gun case. Seems SA's fiber optic front sights don't like high power rounds that much. hasn't happened since but we'll see if and when I shoot more underwoods thru it.

Entertaining review, especially losing your front-sight (lost mine from a Colt Combat Commander in the ' 80's). A nice two-tone duplicate of my 5" .45 ACP Gov't model. I've played the "caliber of the month" game add nauseam, along with it's cost! Bottom line, a big bullet stays a big bullet! Shoot what works for you! Stay safe.

I shot mine, attempted to shoot it for first time yesterday, failure to feed, failure to eject, even failure to fire EVERYTIME.! Sending it back to Springfield tomm, I have the black Ice Rapide and it is my most accurate out of all my 1911s. First time I had to deal with this. Great video. More 1911s please, I think every one I have you have reviewed.

Many times that's a magazine issue. Did you get the problem worked out? I'm curious what happened.

@@Blakgun I sent it back, they replaced magazine release, said they opposed barrel and I forget the thing they did when I sent back. It took about two weeks. Shoots great since. Springfield has great customer service.

Hickok45 had the same thing happen with the front sight on a Remington r1 hunter 10mm. Been wanting one of these so bad I couldn't stand the wait any longer. Ended up getting a kimber custom 2 in 10. Zero regrets.

That opening is why I throw fiber optic sights in the trash on any slided handguns. I have then on a .22 where only the rear moves.

I just traded an old FEG hi power for one of these a Desantis IWB and 5 WC mags . It has a tritium front sight installed. Cant wait till it shows up at my ffl. Its my first 1911 and 10mm.

Same thoughts. I'm old enough to buy my very first handgun, in fact it would be my first gun purchase ever. I love 1911's so a 1911 was the obvious choice. The ronin operator really cought my eye. It's absolutely perfect in my eyes and what I want in a 1911. However I just can not find it anywhere :(

Yes it is harder hitting and more powerful. Yes it is a a bit harder to shoot. In one of my 10MM Les Baer Videos, we have 30 year old females shooting it. It just takes 3 or 4 practice days to get it down. 👍😎🇺🇸 Beretta Sr.

That's pretty common with fiber optics. Most people keep spares and they are easy to replace. I have a Colt Competition with a fiber optic, and while it hasn't come out, it's starting to chip around the corners.
