SPRINGFIELD ECHELON, SHOULD YOU BUY ONE?

I'm kind of confused with the "gas pedal issue" you have. It's the only one in its class with a beveled texture forward of the frame - gas pedal, while some guns of only has a slight texture and most guns don't even offer any kind of texture, yet the only complain you have is something that it offers while it's basically nonexistent on others. Secondly, while my argument isn't really which gun has the best trigger, but when you say "a little long of a reset" for the echelon, it begs the question which gun trigger reset you're comparing this with? It clearly shows on your video as well as the vast majority of the echelon videos I've seen on youtube, shows that this gun as a pretty short reset. The only gun I have with a slightly shorter stock trigger reset is my Canik elite. My glock, M&P 2.0, HK, have longer reset than this. Again, I'm not arguing that the echelon have the best stock trigger (it doesn't), I'm just merely pointing out the claim of the long reset.

Thank you for your well thought out response! On the gas pedal, I think it would have been better without it, or they should have made it better. It's almost false advertising. It is just there enough to make you believe it can work as a gas pedal, but it doesn't. If the echelon didn't have that, and didn't advertise that it did, I think that would be better. For the trigger, I think the Smith and Wesson 2.0 triggers are better than the Echelon. Cleaner wall, and shorter reset. I understand that your trigger may not feel that way, but mine does, and have shown on multiple videos how short the factory 2.0 reset is. So to clarify what I said in the video. The gas pedal doesn't work as advertised. The trigger is slightly better than a factory Glock trigger, but not as good as a factory S&W 2.0 trigger. It's also not as good as the trigger on the Canik TP9SFX, but that will be my next video. Thank you again for a solid comment with some real questions.

@@3KindsOfGuns I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. I shoot my M&P 2.0 the least because of the trigger. Something we can agree on, the Caniks are really slept on and I hope it stays that way. Quality firearms, superb value.

Thanks! Overall it's a solid gun. I wanted to dislike it more than I did. The stippling issue on the gas pedal could probably be resolved with a sodering iron.
