Thanks, Kevin. I was told we had no room for a sewing machine to begin working with leather. But you have shown I don't need a lot of room to enjoy working with leather. Bubba

What happens when the leather dries out? Can you get the same level of tooling if you have to re-wet the leather?
@SpringfieldLeather7 жыл бұрын
Hi, Joey! When the leather dries out, the design should stay exactly the same as when it was wet. Yes, you will most likely get the same level of tooling if you have to re-wet the leather, as long as it's still raw leather. If you have applied some sort of dye or finish, you will not get the same results. Thanks for your question!

Kevin, is this the large or small pro petaler? There are no sizes listed on the website- the one is in this video appears to be about 5mm?
@SpringfieldLeather7 жыл бұрын
Hi, Sheri! Thanks for your question! This one's a large pro petal tool, which you can view here: springfieldleather.com/Pro-Petal-Large . The size you use depends on the size of your project! Let us know if you have any more questions. :)

if it's going to take a few days to carve the leather, will it ruin the leather as you re dampen or should you try to do it in one day?
@SpringfieldLeather10 жыл бұрын
Wetting the leather isn't going to hurt it. In fact, usually while caring it is typical to re-wet the leather frequently to keep the right amount of moisture in it.
