Pearce grips pinky rest fits really good and looks factory on the smaller magazine. Still conceals very comfortably.

7:32 - *_BRILLIANT._* The chief complaint I have about trigger safeties is that anything that might snag the trigger (tree branch or twig) is also going to snag the trigger safety too, making it really pretty useless. This is a problem with my existing Springfield XD-40 Subcompact (which is my FAV EDC). That's why I insist on having also a grip safety. But THIS will definitely make me consider upgrading my Gen 1 XD-40 Sub to this one. This one makes the trigger safety work in conjunction with the grip safety, requiring BOTH to be engaged. Love it!

Are the mags interchangeable with the Gen 1 XD-40 Sub?

Nice! I’m really considering getting myself the same gun. I already carry an XD-40 service model which is the mid size 4in. and that baby although loud & snappy isn’t nearly as bad as other 40’s i’ve shot. The service model handles the 40S&W extremely well & since I practice a lot with it I handle it just as well or better than my buddies with their Glock 19 & 17’s, lol. As far as I understand Springfield Armory uses a double steel recoil spring & all steel rod which makes a smooth shooting pistol & it does. Also the trigger is one of the best trigger out of the box than my glocks, ruger & Taurus no need to upgrade anything really but I did add some Truglo TFX tritium Pro sites, Talon grip & TLR-7. The sites were a great addition especially since it’s my carry gun.

I love the trigger in mine as well. I think the Glock is sloppy compared to it.

Mine has broken 4 times. The barrel, the guide rod, and the locking block. The platform is too small. In giving up after SA promised no more defects. I sent it back last week to SA after the barrel broke a second time.

Had a px4 compact in 40, never got the hang of it. Got the xd 40 4 inch version and it was perfect for me. Is the beretta a more pricey gun, well yeah but accuracy for me goes to the xd

I’m just gonna say, this version in .40 caliber is fun to shoot. I’m not a big person, and I still think it’s not too snappy. IMO
@ZFlyingVLover2 жыл бұрын
If its your first gun THEN I wouldn't recommend 40 because , yes, its too snappy. If you're an experienced 9mm shooter and have your fundamentals down already then 40 is alot of fun and not too snappy

What do you think of. 357sig?
@TheConcealedCarryChannel3 жыл бұрын
I have a Glock 33 which I bought a few years back to test out .357 SIG. I found it to be an pretty accurate and easy to handle. Having said that, it just seemed a bit too specialized of a cartridge and they don't make that many firearms chambered in it. Also, the ammo is expensive (even before the shortage). Good round, just no room in my toolkit.

@@aKjohn8798 It doesn't tell you if it is loaded. I guess for someone that dry fires their gun when the chamber is empty, it would serve a purpose. I didn't think many people did that.
