This creates a whole new perspective of the individuals behind the scenes. Thank you for the insight.

That's the issue with me concerning NASCAR as well. NASCAR and it's drivers promote themselves as "The best drivers in the world". When in reality you guys are actually being generous saying half the drivers are elite. Maybe 25%. I saw Tyler Reddick race a dirt late model alot over the course of several years. Despite his grandpa paying Bloomer God knows how much money to mentor him he struggled. Chase Briscoe, Alex Bowman, Ryan Blaney, etc. Just go on down the list of the standings 75% of the cup drivers never accomplished anything of note in short track racing, dirt or pavement. Even Kyle Busch. No resume whatsoever, Roush Racing signed him because he was Kurt's little brother. The talent in NASCAR is in the race shops not behind the wheel.

I thought the most interesting interview of the year was Sammon's interview with Doug Rose of Bridgeport. Doug explained why the only sanctioned 410 race they are having this year is USAC - because the streaming money is not coming to him. Lincoln (PA) made that decision starting last year - thus their only 410 sanctioned race is this Wednesday. You can have all the streaming services you want, if they don't start making it profitable for the Promoters they are not going to have anything to stream.

Everyone seems to not be able to see the big picture when it comes to motorsports. It’s not just about a driver, it’s about relationships. While in most sports teammates are on the field with you, in racing teammates have completely different roles … driver, owner, mechanic, sponsor, etc.. Everyone needs to work together and be on the same “level” both personally and financially for a team to operate successfully. Being a good driver includes being a good teammate and knowing your roll. That being said, the best drivers are the drivers making the most money, period.

One of the changes and it was touched on. It is ridiculous to be running the A-main at 9:30 to 10:30 at night. Group qualifying should be done. Next the race tracks that are going to hold the high limit or world of outlaws or big usac races should be held to a higher standard. For example Clean Bathrooms , Clean facilities, proper parking and camping areas. Bleachers that aren’t pieced together. The fans will pay 40 to 60 dollars a ticket if they feel good about being at the races. It will never be mainstream when facilities are a dump!!!!!

Michael Rigsby probably wishes DoD was around to cover Bloomer during his real wild years. Scott getting arrested for selling coke would have been great for DoD's business. 😂
