144" Sprinter vans are one of the best platforms for adventure vans because they are big enough to be comfortable but not too big to use around town or park at your house. That said, everyone is always looking for cool new ways to store gear. The new rear storage locker from Owl and Agency 6 does just that, it makes new use of an empty cavity in the rear lower panel of the van. This small space is perfect for tire inflation hoses, gauges, shower hoses, and electrical cables.
Laser-cut aluminum panels are strong, lightweight and feature a durable black powder coated finish. Proudly made in the USA with US sourced materials.

Great idea! Being a Sprinter part, I was worried about the price. I had $400 in my mind as a reasonable price. Pretty damn close, which is awesome!

I'll admit.. I rolled my eyes when I saw the thumbnail...BUT It is a good usage of open space. Always need more storage in the van!

Using the inner bracket to trace the cut area leads to that extra bit of sheet metal interfering with the door closing. Use the outer trim bracket to trace the cut line. That extra 1/4" of sheet metal causes the setup to not fit flush or correct. This is from Agency 6 when I called them about my fitment issues.

Will this work if I've moved my rear mud flaps back to accommodate bigger tires. I used the AO template to do that.

It looks like the locks are similar if not the same as typical RV/trailer locks. My experience has been pretty bad with those locks. They are easily opened, they loosen up, they are universal (my trailer keys just “happen” to be the same as my RV keys.) I love the idea of the storage… but I’d be concerned of the cheapness of the locks. What has been your experience with the locks? And would you have any suggestions for a better lock?

Locks almost all fit the same size hole. While the locks on these are not cheap, I am sure you could find a marine lock if you want

Could you get a pass through all the way across? My spare hangs on the rear (thx OWL) leaving a cavity that looks to be between the two boxes being shown.

Love it but man I really wish they’d make these without the molle panel and giant white branding… Not the look I’m doing for! But I have a 170 so fingers crossed you provide a more subtle option in the future/for longer vans.

Agency 6 addee the molle panel to allow additional mounting options. Sometime going into a product you don't know how creative the customers will be so we allow them options.

I did see a gasket around the cover, so water may leak into the storage box.

The cavity has a weep hole and the kit actually does come with a gasket. We had just installed this and had not put the gasket on before the video. Good catch.
