19:51 When I ran track in college, we did low(er) intensity plyos, then sprints, then intense plyos last. The jumpers would do a couple of short sprints before the jumps. But honestly, if you're not competing, it really doesn't matter.

Great video, audio sounds great too! If there is a concern for the wind in the future ( the fluffy thing that might've come with the wireless mic can help reduce wind noise even more if it's an issue). Otherwise keep coming with the content!

sled sprints are based. when i was having knee pain I would do supersets of sprinting and walking backwards until i couldnt sprint the same distance anymore. i used a 100lbs sandbag instead tho cause i just dont own a sled (sadly)

As someone who doesn't believe in dynamic correspondence, I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on the advantages that sled sprints pose as opposed to just repping out unweighted sprints.

Sled sprints can mimic acceleration but they can’t be compared to max velocity sprinting.

There is a Strength ---- Velocity continuum line so to speak. Doing sled sprints (or the opposite: sprints behind a bike / "reverse band sprints") will just make you work different aspects of that continuum line

I’ve noticed since I’ve taken out a dynamic warm up and added a few mins of pogos and A skips my sprint sessions I’ve noticed a big improvement on the quality of the session

What is your take on Mark Rippetoe’s claim that standing vertical jump is an untrainable genetic quality? That is, that the percentage of motor units you are able to recruit in a short instant of time cannot be improved, only absolute strength can be improved

Not all dynamic warmups are for the nervous though surely, I know in football a lot of our dynamic warmups like lunges for example were to loosen up and get blood into the joints

What about warming up for weightlifting do you like dynamic movements then? (everyone swears by shoulder CARS and things of that nature)or with a band or would you rather specific movement with lighter weight to warm up? Btw love the vids just subbed, wish I found your channel sooner.

What about Dynamic warmup for Sprinters? More plyos isn't required as they're focusing on being their fastest in the session right? I'm asking and not being rude fyi :)

Do you have any quick thoughts on sprinting on grass vs turf vs concrete (and any other random surfaces, like beach/sand)? As far as safety is concerned or injury risk on the first 3 mainly, and then maybe more on efficacy for the other possible surfaces.

Yo Will, I was curious if I could get ur take on a question I’ve had for a little while now abt hypertrophy. I’m a competitive wushu athlete(performance based martial art. Compete with forms. No contact), and lately I’ve been second guessing if auxiliary hypertrophy work on top of power, max strength work is necessary-in the current climate of my sport, bc of the subjective nature of judging, there’s a trade-off to being perceived as “too jacked,” and it sorta feels like junk volume when I could just do more speed and strength work(assuming I’m still making consistent progress) Once a non-contact athlete has a baseline of hypertrophy, strength, tolerance to volume etc., do u believe it’s necessary to continue programming hypertrophy for any reason other than the occasional variation or to break strength plateaus?

I have some decreased strength and power of my knee after an ACL surgery from collegiate lacrosse. I still do sprints and play sports but I definitely tell I lack power in that leg. What single leg exercises would you recommend to develop strength and power?

You do realize that calling something "cucking" or "fake" means absolutely nothing, right? Is there a video/podcast/article of yours where I could actually understand what you mean? Because the issue with time allocation is one that has bothered me for a long time, and I would personally love to be able to make more constructive use of my lifting time. But calling something "cucking" serves no other purpose than to suggest (and only that) that you vote for Trump and probably think that "sex" and "gender" are the exact same thing. But I'm not interested in that, am I? I'm interested in reducing my time warming-up and making my lifting-time more efficient. You're obviously a good coach as well as lifter. Where can I actually engage with your views on either subject? P.S. I understand that my tone is somewhat argumentative, but hey, let's not be soft now. Thank you.
