Hi Robin. I love your tutorials and am currently crocheting a shawl for my daughter with one of the patterns you've shared on your channel. I haven't tried the trinity stitch yet, but it's LOVELY and I already have two ideas for how to use it. I will use it to make a 3rd dishcloth for my daughter(already made two others with other stitches) And I'll use it to make a bag for my beads and prayer book(I'm a practicing Buddhist) One cool thing about using it for my bead/ prayer book bag is the trinity/three idea. Three is also a significant number in my spiritual practice. Thanks for all you share. I must agree with comments made by many others... you are a wonderful teacher!🙂

Yours was the 3rd video I watched on this stitch. Yours made the most sense. The others were very confusing as they started the second row. It felt like they were saying "into the chain-1 space" when they meant "into the trinity cluster," and vice versa. You were crystal-clear as to what to do in the second row. Thanks!

You are a great teacher! We’re you ever a school teacher? You are very mindful of repeating the steps verbally to help us commit it to memory as we go along. Actually you are much better than any formally trained teacher I had at school. Thank you for the huge array of stitches and really good quality tutorials. Also interesting to see how you tension your yarn and hold your hook, seems much easier than the more common style used, I’m going to try and do it your way as I find I end up having to remind myself to loosen up my tension on my yarn and hook like holding a pen or pencil too tight whilst writing. ❤️

See measurement tip below! Thanks again Robin for your most excellent tutorial of the Trinity stitch! I just love it! This stitch has worked out perfectly for the washcloths that I’m making and as you said, it’s a dense pattern and the edges stay straight and hold their edge! There is one tip that I’d like to share about measuring. I found that I needed to chain an extra inch to get the desired length. For example: I wanted a 7” finished washcloth, but to get that, I had to make a chain of 8”. Did anyone else find this true?

I am pretty new to crochet (started my very first project in late June) and I have found so many of your videos extremely helpful and saved them to a playlist so I can refer to some of the fancier stitches for later. Tonight I began my fourth project, which is a blanket I’m making for my mom that is going to be made up entirely of trinity stitches. It’s going to take me quite some time, but I am hoping that it’ll be worth it. The stitch just seems to suit the yarn I’m using, because it has subtle color shifting and gradients, much like the yarn you’re using in your example. Thank you for the tutorials.

Brilliant!!! This is the easiest fastest stitch I've ever seen/done (cuz after watching/listening 3-4 times I had to grab the closest yarn and do it with you!) I have a blanket I need to do and if this swatch survives the washing machine (velvet chenille yarn--might be too wormy) THIS will be stitch of my next project!! 🎉❤

I love this stitch! Something about the flow and repitition , it is very soothing. I've tried a swatch in a 4 worsted and a 5 chunky. Just beautiful! I think it's going to be a favorite. Thank you.
