SPRO FLAPPIN' FROG - FIRST LOOK

Most every bass angler loves catching them on a frog and SPRO just came out with the Flappin' Frog 65. It is based on the tried and true Bronzeye 65 frog body but they added flappy legs and a different floating material. Check out all the details on the new kicking frog.

I make a soft plastic version of this but I love the fact that this one floats. Great looking bait and I’ll have to have some.

Yes JC!!! I agree on the Tatula concept. I have a Lew's that has that 7.41 ratio. I had to go with Lew's because I couldn't afford a Tatula just yet. I also agree that it's imperative to keep that line off the water. I now use a Choppo. It's cheaper than the River to Sea WP. And the Maverick is my choice of color. Early morning, it's hard to beat that color. I do use 30# braid for a stoopid reason. It's small diameter and I can change over to a Ned rig setup. Yes, Ned rig,... I can swim that Ned rig just off the bottom like nobody's business. I'm getting low on my Missle Baits arsenal. Time to put in an order. Great video as always. Glad to see SPRO came out with this. The Snag Proof version was good until a Big Delta Bass eats it and misses. There goes the legs!

I've had good luck with this frog..never miss a bite. But after a few uses and bites it won't land on its belly...pain in the ---
