Great Tutorial. I started using sprocket like 2 days ago so this information will be quite useful on some of my tanks.

and thx so much for this, because of this design I found out how to make horizontal stabilizer too! well atleast, the turret rotates with 50°/s in less than a second while without it it would move at 25°/s after like 10 sec

Yeah, its just sad that there is no stabilizer ingame, considering how many people are creating modern tanks. This video is the outdated one, i made one later that goes a bit more into detail. And its important to play around a bit, so u can have the turret ring a bit more in the turret and the stab will behave smother, but also not so fast. The english isn't better in the second video 😅

@@necessaryevil612 haha, no worries, my english is trash too, thats why I decide not to talk, also, I put a vid on my channel showing the turret rotation speed, however it does not include vertical stab, because of the reasson above. I'll make sure to check your later stabilizer vid! and yes, it is indeed very sad there's not ingame stabilizer :(

Стоит ограничивать углы наведения самого стаба/качели через 'constrains'. Раньше на некоторых танках даже после этого стаб делал оборот вокруг оси, но сейчас, вроде, работает как надо. Ещё по поводу наводчика в основной башне, садил его туда единожды, потому что нужна была маска чисто в декоративных целях. После этого горизонтальное наведение у меня ломалось, к сожалению. В своих танках сажу наводчика только в стабилизатор, работает как нужно, если не висит штрафов на наводчике или командире. Если кто-то из них имеет штраф, то наведение происходит только в одной плоскости одновременно, как с обычными масками. В остальном неплохой гайд, будет полезен новичкам. Над произношением ещё поработать и конфетка.

It is worth limiting the guidance angles of the stab/swing itself through 'constrains'. Previously, on some tanks, even after this, the stab made a turn around the axis, but now it seems to work as it should. Also about the gunner in the main tower, I put him there once, because the mask was needed purely for decorative purposes. After that, horizontal guidance broke down for me, unfortunately. In my tanks, I put the gunner only in the stabilizer, it works as it should, if there are no penalties on the gunner or commander. If one of them has a penalty, then guidance occurs only in one plane at a time, as with ordinary masks. Otherwise, a good guide, it will be useful for beginners. More work on pronunciation and sweetie.

@@oxxximinog it is good to limit the constrains of the gun so it cant overturn to the bottom what it is doing very often. However the turns in the beginning wont stop from the constrains. It is still a bug and still in the game. Also a bug is that the canon often goes to one side because of the depression of the mantlet of the gun and it does not use constrains. So still a bug and also still in the game. Like you have said you only need one gunner now, this video is a bit outdated in that regard and because of that i did make a new one wich isnt so often viewed as that and is outdated with the last 2 patches. Working on pronouncing is something i will work on

@@necessaryevil612 seeing new vid right after that, and yeah, it more actual, even now. IDK, why, but that bug with constrains i catch literally a few times. Now I dont see it even on blueprint, that have bug before.

well, u can actually choose the depression, because u can choose at which angle the turret can no longer rotate

these are just barrels, nowadays u can use mg ports and flip them, these will look better

I made my stabilizer very similar to your method but my problem is reload time being way too long with it. Do you have any reload cold down issue?

No, that was not a Problem at this time. Ive not played a long time but u have to place your ammorack too and depending where you place it, it takes longer. And when you place it in the hull the reload is 1,5 times as long

@@necessaryevil612 I placed ammo in hull. it takes at least 13 seconds to reload. But i am using 120mm shell. Trying to make an MBT. If i don't add stabilizer, it takes only 5 to 7 seconds to reload

@@Dingledun ok, then i really dont know. Thanks for klicking on my video, but maybe it is just outdatet. Maybe there are others that made an newer video. As i said, the video is a few months old and i didnt updatet it. Even my update to this has'nt such a point of problem either. I am sorry, i cant help you

@@Dingledun hi, i have asked the Facebook group for problem solving and i got 2 things i can offer you: first expand the mantlet and put the storage in there, so it does the same thing as like the Amx50 kinda tanks. For a leopard like it would be hard because then you would have overcutting structures inside. Secondly you could give the loader more space upon the blue print files. There are videos how to do it and its a okayish thing but i would recommend having like only 1.25 m³ for him and nothing crazy. Otherwise you can just live with it, 1.5 times the reload can be long, but i think up to 10 seconds of loading to a 120-130 mm canon is fine. Hope this help you

it doesnt really work vertically, it just glitches and then the gun aims backward and for some reasson its saying "not connected" even tho it is...

so uhh... how to limit the rotation? it's kinda hilarious to see the gun just casually rotate to the back clipping the turret lmao

But u can make steel plates up to 20 mm or so thick, so u have extra armor with that. Weight will not increase that much and it will give extra protection.

@@RiplexS this video is old, i made an update video for that. Normally u do that with restrains. So u have to figure out what is gun Depression and elevation. The cannon will do a turn often in the beginning but will behave normal after that
