As a beginner in this, it’s essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. I am 62 years old and bottom line,......Happiness is an active choice. If you choose to be grateful and witness the abundance of your life instead of focusing on the negative, you are choosing to be a happy person. Please make that choice.

❤absolutely true. Gratefulness is everything. When you feel miserable just sit down with pen and paper write down your blessings and all of a sudden you will start to smile

Not for everyone! You, everyone, heard of depression?
@Contessa9983 күн бұрын
@@missjones8123 Hey there, I understand where you’re coming from, but I also have depression and being grateful is very very powerful. Just try writing three things down for a week or two and see what happens. I do feel your pain and I’m sorry but you will be OK.

"When you have a good community around you, everything is going to be great" Lately I have been trying to apply this thought in finding the place I want to settle (for a while). I was always so hyperfocused on what job I want to do and getting stuck in it, instead of thinking in which place and with what kind of people I want to perform a job. Refreshing to see that the interviewed people also have a more holistic approach in life.

I was blessed enough to understand the fragility of life at a very young age. I lost my mom when I was 14 years of age and since then I have lived my life with fervor knowing it could end at anytime. Like, many of these people who are in tuned with mother nature, I turned to nature for wisdom, comfort and gratitude as well. She has been my biggest teacher in life, outside on my family and Hawaiian culture. You can hear the calmness and serenity in these people's voices and outlook in life. They are so tuned into the present. So easy to do when you are surrounded by expanses of nature. As many of us Hawaiians would say, we need to decolonize our minds.

Last year I went on a cruise and opted out of paying for cell service. I read 3 books that week and slept like a log. Felt like a different person. People were a lot calmer pre smartphones. It was fine when it was just text/call but as soon as the internet went onto a phone, things changed. It makes me sad that it will never be like that again.

My mothers sister was a wonderful old nun. One day she told me….. By the time full wisdom and common sense fills your soul and mind, it is then that time when you have to go. I understood well. I wish I new better in my younger years. The price to pay when you get old could be high.

Im 49 and the older I get the more I realize that most of the people don't understand that they can be happier if you choose to. I didn't say perfectly happy. I said happier. Start eliminating things that make you unhappy. For starters,stop watching so much of the news and politics. I did that and it made a world of difference. Stop hanging around so called friends that always just see negative and aren't trying to better themselves. I know that sounds harsh but I realized how important my time is to myself and instead of hanging around those people decided to instead invest time into the things I really want to do. Like hobbies and newer one's I have always want to try. Being happier is definitely in your power.

That was one of your best episodes. I don't think anyone really figures out life. I think people would be terribly bored if they did. The search for happiness and getting close to finding it is what matters. Try and be happy where ever you are, because that's probably all you are going to get. As an older adult, one of the things I am ashamed of my generation is we did not do a good job of teaching our children and/or the younger generation on both sides of living. For example, I was shocked to hear 10 years ago that the average family eats together maybe 1-2 times a week. WHAT! We ate together every day. How vital is that to eat and talk. How can you know the people you live with? How is watching TV and gaming more important than human beings? then we wonder why young people can't relate or socialize well. Phone, social media, TVs and work work work...

I’d disagree, the Yukon is not what it seems. People do not accept people up there. It’s so clicky it makes a person angry. Your advice here is biased and unaccomplished you never moved to Northern Canada. If you did you probably wouldn’t be gratifying north Canada.

Only Jesus saves from hell. Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day (1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV). We have redemption through His blood (Ephesians 1:7 KJV). Water baptism DOESN'T save us (1 Corinthians 1:17 KJV). We are saved by grace through faith, not our works (Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV).

My appeal to every Muslim, my brother or sister, the owner of the channel, I know that it is not my right to comment on your channel, but God is my witness that our circumstances are harsh and forced me to do this. Please forgive me. My brother, there is still a brotherhood of faith. I asked you for a bag of flour. My brother, we women cannot go out among men. There is still a woman with you. My brother, God has honored you. You are men. We are women. We cannot go out or work like you. My brother, where is the brotherhood of faith in your hearts? We are women. There is no brotherhood, no mercy, no compassion, no humanity. And give good tidings to the patient. It is the greatest hope while waiting for what we want. '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' How many times I called and talked and tried hard, but no one responded. Oh man, we are with you. My mother ordered us food from the restaurant. More and today. My mother left. Crying. She said, Why are you crying, my mother? She said, My daughter, I ask. God, that I may be honored by death. She said, Why, my mother. She cursed us. She said, "My daughter, today the restaurant owner insulted me. I said, 'Why?' I said, 'How can I be better than people?' I ask God, my daughter. May God gather me. With death alone, a gathering that is better than this humiliation and this humiliation. It is true. I am saying this. It diminishes my value and respect. But, man. I swear to God that I did not say this. I kiss your boots. I am so hungry that my conscience no longer allows me to let you go and ask us for food. I kiss your boots, man, and I ask you by God Almighty and in the Book of God, man, I kiss your boots, man. He has caused us harm, my brother, so that we can buy a kilo of flour and pay the rent. My brother, have mercy on us. He who is in the show will have mercy on you, He who is in the sky. My brother, this is my WhatsApp number: 00967717061469. Whoever can help us, message me on WhatsApp. We will send him the full name. He will transfer us as much as he can. May Allah reward you. Allah knows that my family and I, our house rent is 15 thousand Yemeni riyals per month, and now we owe 45 thousand for 3 months. The owner of the house is one of those people who do not have mercy. By Allah, my brother, he comes every day and humiliates us and talks about us and wants to throw us out of the house and into the street because we were unable to pay him the rent. We will have until the end of the week, and if we pay him, he will swear by Allah that he will throw us out into the street without mercy. See my situation for yourselves. I ask you by Allah, the Living, the Eternal, to help me. By Allah, the Almighty, even at night we cannot sleep from fear. We do not have mattresses or blankets to warm ourselves from the cold. Everything is flooded from the rain, and we have no one but Allah and then you. My brothers, I kiss your boots, don’t turn me away empty-handed. Help us with whatever you can. Is it acceptable to you that we live in this place? We are girls and we have no one. Our father died in a car accident. Consider us your daughters and your honor, and help me with whatever you can.
