A lot of people seem to mistake Red Mage and Dancers for Melee DPS's for some reason. But if they just go over 2 tabs in the character screen you'll see what category the classes belong to.

@@HaddaClu lets be real, with the hitbox-size this expansion even AST is a melee. As a general note, you should always stick to the bosses thick cheeks, makes dodging aoe`s way easier and healing and group mit (looking at you BLM over there in Timbuktu)

@@madiganva Which is the correct decision, I believe. I don't know why it got approved in the first place, because that absolutely doesn't fit Urianger. At all. I like the Wind Up Moenbryda, because she was a great character, but I always hated the text because it was so creepy and wrong.

@@jamesderbutler Localization teams basically get a free pass on most if not all "flavor" text in game. There are a huge amount of differences between the various regions; and the English team in general is well known for catering toward the playerbase with memes and jokes. But they also change the text for the story character dialogue as well; so long as those dont change it too drastically.

@@HaddaClu FFXV is a great example of how this can be a bad thing. They COMPLETELY changed Noctis' character from a tries-to-be-cool-to-cover-his-insecurity guy to a laid-back-constantly-sassing-and-carefree guy. FFXIV does it RIGHT! For the most part. I don't know if the "Viera and carrots" joke in an item description in Endwalker was in the Japanese version, but I can almost guarantee the Hitchhiker's Guide reference wasn't.
