I didn't want to use them because tarkov is so fucking poorly optimized and my 5600x bottlenecks my 3080, but after the ai kept getting stuck trying to run through glass windows on the second floor I'm gonna have to take a hit and dl them for my next playthrough lol

@@RancorousSea You shouldnt take THAT big of a hit to performance. you will see some dips when spawns happen but its just that, a dip and then its back up. I finally upgraded to the 7800x3d and Tarkov runs like a dream with 25+ mods

Trying to fix AI, Glukhar was always spawning in Reserve in the same building, so I tried SWAG+Donuts, but something is def. lowering my FPS. I feel like there's a shit ton of AI spawning and they are not optimized well. Gonna try BSP now instead of SWAG. Update: BSP instead of SWAG did it. Game is FLAWLESS right now with my friend connected on the server. Smooth as butter. But now I have issues like no rogues in Lighthouse.

good thing it has individual settings for different bots. Before i had to tweak those by manually editing the server files. Although it is sad that SAIN makes scavs so quiet. I want them to talk like they always do, but at the same time i also would like more quiet and tactical PMCs. With SAIN it's one or another. But hearing scavs talking is important for immersion - otherwise they don't feel like themselves at all. So i guess i will turn back on all the talking.

Great video! Do you make any changes to donuts as well? The last thing i feel like I’m missing is a proper tuning for number of bots per map. Sometimes i see next to no one all raid and other times im swarmed by 10 bots at once.

Thank you! The only changes that I make to Donuts are greatly-reduced spawns and spawn caps. You'll see in an upcoming video.

Yeah I have the same issue. Everything else is setup really to my liking now. I’ve tried to edit the donuts txt config files and lower the total bots and also the spawn distance to me and other bots. But somehow I can’t get it to work properly. Looking forward to that video.

The Donuts difficulty selector is the same as EFT's, like you choose before a raid. SAIN presets have behaviors for each of the difficulty levels. You can customize how each preset behaves per level.

Hey bro ! Iam new to SPT, like most people recently i guess :D (Iam never going back, fck Nikita and BSG, iam having a blast with SPT rn) Iam using SAIN, donut, looting/questing bots. I have several questions if u dont mind: 1: The AI seem to hit my stomach ALOT and its quite annoying at the start, is there a way to adjust that ? 2. Can i set the max number of bots somewhere ? I got several raids now where its just a clusterfck with like 20 pmc, a boss, scavs, raiders xD 3. I noticed its not raining at all for me ? Can i fix that somehow ? I really enjoy night raids with rain :C

Hey i can answer these questions for you. 1. You can increase the aiming scatter in SAIN menu (F6) so shots will spread out more. 2. You need to enable bots hard cap in donuts settings from the F12 menu and edit the config file in the donut folder. You will see a section listing all bot caps for each map, just change the number to whatever you like (both scavs and pmc). 3. This is a known bug and will hopefully be fixed soon (if i recall correctly this is actually a vanilla bug from the specific version SPT is currently using)

I had the same problem with amount of ai. There were just too many. I played version before this and never had this many bots, at most i had like 4 or so lets say near lumberjack, now its like a war out there with 12 bots. Some die but another get replaced i was wondering was live always like this ? Or version before didn't spawn so much bots.

@@thestarvox I believe the AI would be handled or at least mostly handled by the PC running server. Which of course reduces the CPU load of the client. Not sure as I haven't tried it, but maybe no more spikes when bots load in?? Worth a shot I might tinker with it this weekend and report back.

I think the perfect setup is to have the AI perfectly balanced between being aggressive enough to shoot decently fast at you, but still give them a slight handicap with their aim, scatter and recoil factor adapted so they don't laserbeam headshot you right away or any other part of the body. Among the other tweaks in SAIN. This necessarily doesn't mean they will always shoot around you/miss. Sometimes they land some really lethal blows - I know for a fact lol. But the landing of shots around you still provides a sense of danger, even when you are not hit. And it gives you a fair chance to react and seek cover or kill the aggressor, before they hit you. If you don't, it is a high risc they will land the next shots on you. Which they have a high chance of doing, depending on if you know where they are or not. So in conclusion, you are given the chance to take cover or kill your opponent, without being molested to pieces everytime, depending on your own actions in the present situation. It provides a nice randomness between evading injury and actually getting messed up for real sometimes or killed. Which is the perfect blend imo.

It's an option in the "Realism" mod for SPT. Among other things, the mod gives you several different additional stances for holding your gun.

You can use the KMC SVM, Dad Gamer Mode, or even the SPT Realism Mod, I think. For the latter two, you'll find those settings in their BepInEx entries labeled "Magazine Load Speed" or something.

Sounds right to me, Tarkov is chaotic in nature that way, especially when bots move and loot on their own. It could be your mods, but it could also be circumstances when you find them.

SAIN is AI behaviour. Swag&Donuts controls spawns and spawning waves. Completely different roles, can't override with each other.

Base game difficulty is chosen at the start of a raid. It can also be set in the Donuts menu, that's the difficulty selection. SAIN adds behavior modifiers to the difficulty level chosen. The SAIN presets include settings for each level and can be changed individually.

Its because he is using an older version on here. Make sure your version is 2.2.1 for the most recent update. The GUI will be different as the homepage tab will have General Settings. You should see it as soon as you enable the [Open Editor] option. Not everything is the same location but all the stuff he changes should still be in the General Global Settings on the Home tab.

does anyone else have very bad performance with spt? for some reason i get much lower fps than regular tarkov at the same settings, and whats weird is that my gpu doesn’t boost the way it should, sitting at 2610mhz instead of 3045 as it usually does. im using a 4090 and 7800x3d.

Should be perfectly fine with 7800x3d as it's the best CPU for SPTarkov (fastest cores out of every x3d Ryzens). And the fps reduction is because your PC now is also the server putting high loads on CPU.

Don't really see the appeal of playing SPT myself, but it is impressive what modders can achieve. This would make for a really cool STALKER type single player game, like surviving, finding gear, killing mutants, etc. But Tarkov with just AI seems pointless, imo. Maybe one day we'll have this for private servers on live game.

Try it for a little while and tweak it to your liking. Worst case, you don't like it and delete it. In the best case, you no longer have to deal with cheaters and dsync along with horrid graphics.

I mean that's exactly what tarkov SPT is... surviving, finding gear, killing scavs and pmcs etc... dont think of it as a single player of live tarkov, you can mod it to what you want it to be

Same Problem here. I play with baby bots because i got Bad aiming. Scavs and PMC mostly no Problem... but raiders and roques kill me on sight😅

Oh gosh, that's not possible - no one is scanning your computer for SPT. It's totally fine, but you should really read the documentation to educate yourself about it.

Me: Just trying to not have 6 million bots continuously spawn on me and rush me like I'm tagged and cursed, while at the same time tanking my performance like I'm running 3 live raids simultaneously, must be just a hard cap number or two right, easy enough right ? SPT: "Nah bro, first gotta read thru the old testament's proportions of documentation, watch 3 hours of youtube explanations and quit your job to make time to tweak it to not-worse-than-live levels of jank" To get this to run, not even like in the video, just SPT+SAIN, is I swear to god more infuriating than BSG dropping that unheard BS. You make great content but I guess this shit's not for me, and that's coming from someone with fair bit of experience at modding games. Imma just drop this goddamn game as a whole.
