Nice and compact. I like the design, I shall be buying some when they come to the U.K. I’d like to get setup and give pressure fermenting another chance once i have a little more space for temp control

Are the preset PRV's the same dimensions as a Corny Keg PRV? Just wondering - if pressure fermenting at 10 or 15 psi in a Corny Keg then you could just swap out the PRV.

Yes. They’re exactly the same threading but they’re set to release at lower pressure.

I read that Spundy can be used to also harvest CO2, for example to purge a keg while fermenting. I didn't see anything in this video about hoe to connect a hose up the outlet to transfer to another keg. Is CO2 harvesting possible?

Any plans making a lid that fits a hop bong on this fermentor?

Nah. Not at the moment. Our Apollo lids already have a dryhop port.

My spundy shows 4 psi without being pressurized. 😞 How to fix that?
@Keg-King2 ай бұрын
Can try bringing the pressure up again to make the gauge move. Upon releasing the pressure it might help the gauge drop back. Alternatively, There are spare gauges: www.kegking.com.au/replacement-gauge-spundy.html cheers

I`m having problems putting it on my fermentasaurus snub nose

Could be the post o-ring that on some posts is a bit thicker, making it hard to attach disconnects. Try replacing the o-ring and see it that helps.
@suburban912 жыл бұрын
@@Keg-King The spring inside the post is too big. Not room enough for the pin inside spundy to press down. Snipped of a bit of the spring and there are no problems

It could just be that the post o-ring on your fermenter is slightly larger. You can try swapping the o-ring out and see if you get a better fit. If the Spundy fits on the gas post of your kegs, then you'll be able to fit it on the Apollo

@@Bewail that's great you could swap the post. All our fermenters just utilise standard ball lock posts so can be replaced easily globally. In which country and retail shop did you find your Apollo fermenter?
