We shouldn't have sacked Pochettino. Where has sacking a manager every 18 months while not investing properly in the playing staff got us? The consistent theme is lack of serous investment in players and expecting managers to change water into wine. We don't have a top 4 squad even if we weren't trying to compete in 4 comps. @@thedon1004agreed. Look at our squad. The annoying thing is he gives a manager 65m for richarlison. I’m not a football expert but I can tell you he doesn’t fit the bill for what we want. He sanctions 45m for Johnson. He sanctions big money but for the wrong players and when we need an extra push or a bigger wage for some one special he buries his head. The guy does just enough every season and we all keep falling for it. Our squad is so bad. Where are the top players we used to have. Gazza. Waddle. Hoddle. Ardiles. Bale. Modric. Berbatov. Keane. Van der vart. We always used to have top players who could change games for us. Now we have sarr. Bissouma. Bentancur. Werner. Johnson. Richarlison. The level of player is Miles off to compete even fully fit. Porro at right back is one of the worst full backs in the PL he’s a shambles. Ben Davies everyone keeping him on like he needs long service money or something. Same as son. We should be more ruthless and getting shot of the garbage and trying to upgrade. Only issue is if we did that we would literally have about 5 players left worth anything useful. Levy and the board along with the recruitment team need to be sent packing. ASAP. Clean sweep of all the staff like Ryan mason and all this guys too while at it
