In the early eighties Garth Crooks & Steve Archibald (fed by the Genius that is Glenn Hoddle) were truly world class. COYS

I still think Hoddle is the most talented player England have ever produced. Although Bobby Charlton is the greatest around player we've had

I remember watching this on the TV. Back then the FA Cup was a major trophy, equal to winning the league. It was exciting and almost everyone (even people who didn't really watch football) would watch it. The build up to the match was exciting. Each round to the final was exciting. Now it's been watered down because of the changing to European football. Clubs are more interested in finishing in the top 4 (without a trophy) than actually winning a pot. It's crap.

Look how far we have fallen from those days. Sad. Terrible owner and terrible chemistry of our spurs team nowadays. Every one of them needs to be replaced.

Talk about Kane and Son, Archibald and Crooks were a pretty dynamic duo.

Quite amazing how all three Villa players followed the ball for our first goal - leaving Crooksy totally unmarked. Schoolboy stuff.
