😎😎 Luka actually averaged 21.2 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists per game in his rooky year in the NBA. Luka was also an MVP candidate right away in his second year in the NBA (Luka was voted in the 4th place in the MVP race in his second year and then among the top ten in the MVP race every single year ever since that year. So, you have clearly been completely wrong in talking about Luka's rooky statline in this episode of the show!!!!!!!!!😎😎

@DuckFanDane
@DuckFanDane 11 ай бұрын
He was vehemently disagreeing with the fact that they said he could be a 20 points per game scorer starting out if you really believed that Victor would be a 19 points per game scorer then sing 20 points per game wouldn’t be that outrageous. The reason they were attacking him is because he was acting like Victor is such a horrible shooter when he’s comparable to doncic coming out of Europe so 20 points per game is not out of the realm of possibility.

 Luka went 5th in the draft and got traded for the 3rd pick. They did know Luka would be a bucket in the league. Only reason he didn’t go #1 was because he was a foreign player and ayton as a prospect looked like a center who could defend, score, and shoot which is invaluable in this league. Luka was also the most recent foreign prospect to dominate the Euros then dominate the NBA. The reason LeBron gets criticism is because he calls himself the greatest ever. That’s the only time people criticize. LeBron criticize him in comparison to the greatest ever and yes, Victor is may be the greatest prospect ever so he is put up there in the same light as LeBron James type of expectations and mixed criticism is crazy because the thing is he is criticizing Victor for not having a 40% shooting percentage for wants to say scoot Henderson will be better even though Henderson isn’t a good shooter either that’s why they’re looking at him crazy. His basis for saying he’s not as good of an offensive player as Luca coming out of the draft is that the shooting percentage is not very good for Victor but the fact is Luca didn’t have that much of a good shooting percentage and it took him like three years to get a really good percentage and they are both amazing passers. His criticism just doesn’t make sense because he’s going to get the most shots on the spurs and he’s gonna get 20 to 25 shots and he most likely because he’s going to be in the post also on top of the perimeter it is crazy to think he won’t get 20 points per game

Were you alive during the Lebron stuff? He hyped himself up, called himself the chosen one, got it tatted on his back and it was a way different time. Social media didn't exist, so I don't know where you are getting this "yall were saying MVP and blah blah blah. You have NO way of knowing what anyone outside of who you know, and who are on TV during that time. And they aren't mad for him critisizing Wemby, its how he is doing it thats predictable and annoying. And how he holds different players to different standards, depending on who he likes. He see's Wemby getting around the same amount of hype as Lebron did when he was drafted, possibly more because of social media. So he is using all these non arguements in order to downplay his hype and trying to belittle it. Arguements he literally created, but is acting like they're the popular narratives going around NBA talk. It's actually embarrassing. lol Most of Lebrons criticism is he ALWAYS crowns himself, and it seems extremely desperate and insecure.

He will transition very well just like Doncic did. The European game is harder on defense .

Definitely should have drafted Scoot no idea what MJ was doing with his last act as GM. The value he could have gotten from a Scoot trade mid season would be much higher than the value of Miller. Not every draft pick has to be about immediate team fit, especially when you team is a long ways off from being competitive. It's been an absolute amature-hour of ownership from Jordan and as a hornets fan I could not be happier to see him leave.

One thing I think Brou tends to ignore about these situations with these NBA teams and their relationships with players like Dame is that while you have to do what's best for your franchise, if you dont give Dame what he wants, the guy who has been hands down the best player in franchise history, if you're not giving him what he wants, then you're not giving any player what they want, and they all will take note of this. The PNW teams have historically had a hard time recruiting Superstar players, but not treating the ones that are there with the utmost respect is just franchise killing.
