​​@captainsahab225 Sesko is going to Arsenal, according to reports. Gyokeres has a big release fee. Eze and Paulinha would easily cost over 120m. Eze has a 60m release clause that means it has to be paid up front, not in installments. Paulinha signed a new deal last summer. My guess is Spurs sign Gallagher and Toney or Solanke. I still don't think that's enough.

@@sof5930 very surface level to think few goals = need for a goalscorer. Creating clear cut chances is the issue. We have plenty of players who can find the net with apparent ease, including our centre halves. Not saying Eze and a 6 would bring that directly but I think they facilitate it.

Why would we spunk a huge chunk of our budget on a player who plays as a 10 when we already have Madders, gio, bergvall and Kulu. And the other position he plays is LW where we already have Sonny and Werner. We need to be focusing our spend on CF and RW. 80/20 rule, this is where spending big will most benefit us

Gio is leaving, bergvall is a 8. So it's just kulu and madders and eze can play on the wing as well. It's just a really good option. Proven in Prem, English as well. We have Brennan and Kulu for right wing as well.

With regards to Eze, Chelsea definitely can't afford him this financial year unless they sell before the end of June. Also as Chelsea are now in Europe next season they have to comply to pay to income ratio rule so they might even struggle next financial year unless they sell. We just need to get the deal done asap and especially before going for Gallagher (if we are!)

Evalilson 13 league goals from 29 matches. 4 goals in the champions League all scored against Royal Antwerp. His 8 goals in the Portuguese cup were against weak 2nd and 3rd division opposition. Surprised when I heard Spurs going for him as Gyökeres and Simon Banza were the huge stories in Portugal this year, two top quality strikers battling out for the top goalscorer. Looks like Marseilles are going to snap up Banza (21 league goals )for a cheap 20 million euros.

I know Eze is a very good player, but we dont need that lw/cam player for that money. We need a versatile winger that fits the system. Eze doesn't fit the winger role and having both Maddison and Eze at Cam will lead to one being unhappy about playtime. Get a striker and a real winger that can cover both sides instead.

What annoys me is the entitlement a section of the fan base have that if we want a player he must sign for us . If he doesn't it's always the fault of our club . It is possible that he might want to go somewhere else or his agent might want him to go somewhere else . Or the other club is just prepared to offer way over the value of the player . Any player that is transferred has to be an agreement of the player and the two clubs , three parties .

Yup, this is exactly why I think werner deal was absolutely spot on. I am sorry, but no 'brilliant and next big thing in the world' is going to come to spurs out of all the places and warm the bench, deputising son! That's just never going to happen. You can't just have this perfect squad where a substitution doesn't bring down the quality of the team at the slightest. This isn't career mode. What we can do is make sure the drop off isn't as worse as it has been all these years. Getting rid of Bryan Gill and Solomon and replacing their spot with werner is perfectly reasonable.

10 - 15m pounds for Solomon!? You are dreaming! Who would pay that? Unless it's some desperate team in the Premier League, no club has the money to spend on a player that is super injury prone and hasn't been seen for well over 12 months in any consistent capacity. That club would then need to somehow find a way to match his wages which are inflated because he was signed by a Premier League side. He will be on a lot less outside the Premier League and that will be taken into consideration if any move is to go through.
