Honestly, if I where Scout I wouldn't be mad at my farther leaving me when I was younger when he's a literally spy from another country, especially when I had 7 siblings that weren't his but I would be ticked of that despite working on a team with him for the finale third of one war (the gravel wars), an entire other war (MvM) and throughout most of the events of the TF2 main comic line, he never confronted me about the truth once until he I was literally less than a minute away from passing on from major blood loss.

Why didn’t I see this video earlier? This is certainly the best character evolution of any TF2 while perfectly using the most well-known fan theory. Scout and Spy are rivals, totally opposed in their way of thinking and acting, yet they have some mutual respect. But this! This is a scene that shows the complexity of their relationship. When the spy spells scout by his real name and he admits his own mistakes and how proud he is of him, he implicitly admits who he is for Scout... This is one of the rare (perhaps even the only) moments where there is a father-son respect and sincerity that goes beyond the professional framework. I shed a man’s tear for this video that honors this famous duo.
