alphapupup5 For most cctv, what they record are mostly don’t move much, with proper VBR compression you could store a lot of footage with less storage with cost of requiring additional encoding to post process the recorded footage. ( the problem is most of not all DVR I’ve ever seen only record footage with CBR ( probably because it’s cheaper to get more storage than spending some money to fit a decent CPU to do the VBR post processing ) Consumer camera need high bitrate because people generally don’t use gimbal with their phone thus creating a lot of movement, lot of movement means lot of data to keep.

There are also public places with one-way mirrors in changing rooms and bathrooms so guys on the other side of the viewing window can peep on women. There's a way to check if a mirror is one-way or not, and there are random times where I check to make sure. You never know sometimes!

No peepers watching from another end! If your finger can touch your reflection directly, then it's a two-way mirror. That's what I've read, anyways. Not sure how accurate this is.

I ALWAYS assume there is a camera "EVERYWHERE" I go! I do NOT use public restrooms. On long journeys I provide a way to use something discreet. Remember to use your own restroom if short daily outing, BEFORE you go. Know your clothes size as not to try fitting rooms. Little things like this will save your posterity from online predators.
