The Para3 is incredible. And, despite the "high carry" pocket clip, I gotta say, the clip contour and location fit my hand perfectly when in the forward position... Love that thing.

I have a bark river bushcrafter in cruwear and it’s such a amazing steel when it comes to sharpening, edge retention, corrosion resistance and it’s so strong.

I have used my cruwear PM2 without a ton of maintenance and it has yet to rust or patina on me where as my M4 Manix 2 has had some spotting. Both are great in my opinion!

I have no staining on my cruwear pm2 either. M4 is great steel, but yeah..it will stain pretty easily. Same with 52100, another good stel Spyderco likes to use here and there.

I missed it also. Would have loved it to match my Para2 smooth g10 in cruwear. I like the smooth g10..it slides in and out of the pocket so smooth, and I love the cruwear. UPDATE: They are back in stock, so I put my money where my mouth is, and ordered one. Really didn't need it as I already have the Rex45 version, but honestly, I am not a big fan of orange, and I just HAD to get one to go with the PM2 in Cruwear Knifecenter exclusive, lol. The mark of a true knife junkie.

I've always received what I paid for from them... their shipping is not very predictable though. "FREE" shipping from Knife Center is between 3-9 business days in my experience whereas BHQ is 3 days every time. Presumably the result of a smaller operation with less staff and less on-hand inventory. Nevertheless, a reputable company with good CS.

I don’t understand the use of super tough steels in pocket knives. Most people are not batoning with their pocket knives. The vast majority of pocket knives are being used for slicing and never see the kind of abuse that would allow the properties of M4 or CPM Cruwear to shine and offset the corrosion factor.

I'm assuming you got your answer, but ezpz and gets insanely sharp due to its fine micrograin. But yet its tough and holds an edge for a long time. Kinda don't make sense, but its pretty awesome.

Is the knife handle black or dark grey? Most of the pictures I see of the listing of the cruewear para 3 is light grey? Confused now.

Its black. Lighting makes it look dark gray but its the smooth, slightly reflective surface that makes it appear gray.
