Excellent review as always! Have two of the DLC Para 3's, both with S45VN steel, one all black and the other in camo scales. Added Wiseman Signet rings to both so now I have a full grip on the knives without my pinky finger "falling off". I now end up carrying this more than my PM 2. Thanks for sharing!

The S45vn is a great edc steel, and both knives are great

The Para 3 seems pretty sweet. I've never had one but hope to one day. Great review 👍

I have the s30v OG and the Maxamet version. Both are excellent for me and my hands. I also own the Pm2 but the Para 3 weirdly fits me better !

Actually really love those brown scales with that black blade. That's a mean looking knife man!

My green Endura 4 and My STS Police are My two faves, out of My 23 models. The Spyderco line, has that Dinosaurs skull profile look to them. I love it!

Yeah I love the look of the Spyderco

When the Para3 first came out, I thought it would be too small. After the LWs dropped I decided to try one out and liked it so much I bought another one. Now they are a staple in my rotation.

You can completely separate the scales. Once you have the screws out swing one scale out and rock and pull it will come off the lanyard tube easy. I did it on my para 3, PM2 and manix 2 XL to add backspacers

Great video,...I love my PM3 lightweight with the spy 27 blade 🗡🗡🗡

Good content a little long and you missed the P3 lightweight. The lightweight is a great option for light summer shorts and the wire clip lets it ride low in the pocket. I agree the regular P3 is is a little brute with its full liners and multiple steel choices. Keep it up!

i have the standard s45vn para 3 and a spy27 para 3 LW. is it true that you can swap the blades between lightwieght para 3's and full size ones?
@allthingsknives2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I’ve done it plenty of times

I have a para 3 and the action is super stiff. Any ideas on how to break in? Or how long have to sit and open, close, open, close, open, close....??

About a solid day or two using it, and try using some kind of knife line gunny glide works best

The best thing about your review is your NAME. I am also a "Fletcher" and you don't run into too many of us. Don't you feel sorry for all those other folks with boring first names. (haha)

It is unfathomable to me these knives are as popular as they seem to be. I would never edc that or any other mini way too small blade. My cutting tasks daily are approximately 20 + times. I don't or really know what the reason for expensive folders as a fidget factor product. What the hell is fidgeting wit a sharp pocket knife a reason to spend 200-300+ without any cutting choirs. But I've lived in the country with lots of needs for multiple blades I carry. I edc automatic and user-friendly blades at least 4 inches & longer. Such as Benchmade Infidel otf, a SOCP, a AFO 2 auto, the Boker klas 74 XXL auto, a ColdSteel Recon 1, a Kershaw launch 6 auto.Plus some large fixed blade sheath knives in needed. My one mini is a CRKT minimalist in Persian version. Now I have ordered a Benchmade Fact so waiting for another tactile style blade to carry I found on line for $86 new. I sharpen & oil every evening...Thanks for the time,, I am out !..

Two and four sixths lol. With all due respect, you should learn how to read a tape measure. Watch a 5 minute video. Its such a basic thing that everyone should know. Not trying to insult you but its literally a commonly used skill. It definitely cant hurt so why not. And before someone argues about how we should use metrics, we dont. And thats not a reason not to know sae anyhow so get over it. It's not that hard.

Come back and do a review when you actually use them, not 1 scratch on them bud.

Just take good care of my stuff, dlc is very abrasive resistant and so are steels that are 60+ HRC if you don’t like my lack of scratches there are plenty of channels on KZbin
