There's some early footage of Spyro 2 which seems to suggest that they did!

I had intended on reuploading the Al Molloy's video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/j3PUc5Wer5x8pbM) in its original quality, but KZbin's compression makes the quality change negligible. Oh well! At least we can take this opportunity to remind ourselves of what was in this trailer. If you're looking for the disc containing this trailer, then it's on the France Euro Demo 51 disc.

This would probably look a lot better if you upscaled the footage to a higher resolution, since KZbin will give the video a higher bitrate, therefore hopefully it should be a lot closer to the original quality

I don't think the thing you're looking for is a trailer, I think it's just footage produced in-house that was given to demo disc producers - similar situation occurred with the Spyro 3 trailers

Spyro557 Jonathan well there is always potential for new things to be found for sure - like the recent early Spyro 1 screenshots found in a few old magazine scans - and just today I found a new version of Spyro 3 in a magazine scan, so I really hope this footage ends up recovered, too :) though if it does turn out to be stock footage we have to rely on the frustratingly slim possibility that someone that previously worked for a demo disc producer or publisher still has the sample footage

Spyro557 Jonathan they're not hugely exciting and don't present any new content, it's just that the content of the screenshots confirms that it sits in a point of development not occupied by anything else if that makes sense. Like, it comes after the GameSpot build and before Demo 2 which means it's around the same time as the EGM and Trailer builds but it doesn't perfectly match either of them

Ah nostalgia, This trailer was on a demo disc and then i ask my parents to buy the Game and one Week later i got the Game and the adventure begins.. Love the memories.. simple life back then 🥲
