Glad I found someone who agrees, I never figured out why Spyro 2 is so popular. Spyro 2 is a great game, but it lacks a lot of content compared to the other two games and was blatantly rushed out for release.

Sure it's a fun game, but I feel like the gameplay is just a prototype for Year of the Dragon. Spyro 1 is a simple but fun game with nothing but head bashing, jumping and gliding and flaming. Spyro 2 introduces new things with swimming and climbing and what you could call minigames like following the agent, but I don't think they mesh very well with the general simplicity of the level design, I feel taken out of the level at those stops. Spyro 3 mixes everything perfectly together and is epic.

This took me alot longer than I thought it would. I kept messing up on ring 29/50 that quick glide to the other side .

Hey man I kind of feel the same about Spyro 2. I know this is horribly late but I just felt like saying it haha. I really prefer things about the worlds to Spyro 3 tho so they even out for me. The first game is certainly the best anyways.

Wow, of the three PS1 Spyro games, you dislike this one the most? I'm shocked. I love this one the most! I read the description, but I'm still confused. wow thats lame- if you get every single thing it gives you infinite fire ball breathing? thats a little late in the game :\ i was thinking maybe "ripto had stored his stolen treasure here, and you can get it" or something, like in spyro 1. but, oh well, good game anyway

You get 100% Complete on the game and all you get is an unlimited power up which works in one world....

Yea, you can start a new game entirely with ur new fire attack. It makes the game so much easier.

When I first opened the doors and got the unlimited flame powerup I wasn't sure at first what it was for until I discovered it was what you need to get the last skill point easier:Defeat Ripto without getting hit.

Without the superflame is definitely possible but it's challenging And you feel like the man when you do it too

IMO Spyro 2 is the best in the series. Year of the Dragon was good too and had more stuff in it than Spyro 2 but the level designs were poor and some of the soundtracks really sucked. This is just my opinion though, you don't have to agree with me.

Definitely agree with you, Spyro 2 is my least favourite of the original trilogy. It's a great game on it's own, but the other two Spyro games are better in most cases. Not to mention the fact that there's blatantly an entire world missing from the game.

@@bratbrat9494 trust and believe it took me a while to get use to Ripto's rage some of the levels on this game was very challenging but fun zephyr is one of the toughest level in Autumn plain

@@bratbrat9494 what's even more ridiculous about zephyr is them damn falcons with them booms dropping down in your direction and those annoying birds with the TNT barrels but I still love zephyr because the theme song to that level I love zephyr theme it's so I don't how to put in words 😂
