To people here who are asking about how to climb the ladder: You can't until you reach the second world. You have to learn how to climb from Moneybags. Spyro 2 had this gimmick that made most of the worlds uncompletable until you learned some new skill in each one. It's an annoying gimmick, yes.

@@JulezDxb you don't need to 100% every level to beat the game.. Just get as many gems and orbs as you can and you'll be fine. If you want to fully complete the game, though, you'll have to go back to some levels once you get certain abilities to get access to areas you didn't have before

I always play Crash & Spyro from the last to the first cuz they seemed way more fun n I was right. These games were really just a copy and paste of each other, there should be a reward to have all the power ups from each game n every single one. i remember in the old game, you could get up the ladder without knowing how to climb using the superfly outside. seems like if there was just a half second longer of flight, you could make it no problem.

Also with a simple trick using circle, square and jump at the same time Spyro would spit fire to the sky, lighting all the lamps without the superfly power

You need to defeat Crush first, and go to the next world (Autumn Plains). And pay money bags for the ability to climb, then go back to Glimmer :)

Try using Sparx to guide you to the missing gems, I think pressing L3 or R3 should do it

guarantee your red gem is by the first power up gate at the top of the ladder. the mouse talks to you beside the gate, the gem is behind that mouse.
