I wouldn't say underrated! As you guys said, he protects Spyro from losing a life, collects the Gems, points the location of Gems that remain uncollected (Spyro 2 and Spyro 3), has his own levels (Spyro 3, Spyro: A Hero's Tail). You could say that his role in the Legend of Spyro Series is a bit underrated because he no longer serves as a health bar there and hasn't got a significant purpose, but being just the comic relief in the group.

Spyro 2's my personal favorite in the franchise, I am a little disappointed that you never discovered the Charge Jump which basically makes most platforming in the game a joke... but what are ya gonna do... in spyro 1 and 4 if you perform a charge and then jump spyro basically faceplants, but in both 2 and 3 he doesn't, giving him a running jump that makes the flutter irrelevant. Skylanders is great, but it's also expensive if you want lots of figures.
@jiphrrr5579 жыл бұрын
Completing a game and wasting a ton of money to get all the content of a game are two different things. That's why I doubt Jirard will be completing Skylanders any time soon, if at all. He can't complete the game without all the figures. That's not a matter of him being the completionist or not, that's a matter of whether he can track down a bunch of figures that aren't even being produced any more(well, for the later games) from eBay scalpers. So just drop the Skylanders thing, I highly doubt he'll be completing something that actually requires you to pay to complete it.

Something else neat to point out: If you get the permanent superflame powerup for 100%ing the game, and start a new game right after you exit the 100%ed game, you'll start the new game with the superflame! It's pretty cool because it makes the game a bit different in how you play, and easier. It feels nice to get through some difficult enemies or bosses without a problem. But unless you're into the game a lot, you'll probably not want to play the game over again.

Man you are reviewing a lot of games I have played in the last year and a half. This was officially the 4th game I ended up playing on my channel (Unofficially 5th) and it was my first spyro game. Honestly never thought much of the Spyro franchise but Ripto's Rage proved to me that it was better than I was expecting. I personally didn't 100% it though so I am looking forward to seeing what the completion bonus I missed out on was. 2:21 Accurate. 4:56 Yeah I thought that was funny when I found that out. 5:10 Oh yeah I remember now it was when I heard that guy's voice that I made note that he sounded like spongebob. That was when I found out Spyro was also voiced by him. 10:04 That's also about how I felt about the boss difficulty. 15:07 Still waiting for Tales of Symphonia (Surprised no teaser this week)

This game helped make me a perfectionist as a kid. I remember the pleasure I got from collecting every single gem lol. It was like candy for me back then!

Fun seeing you do this when I completed the game 100% multiple different times on multiple different cards as a kid. ^_^

Spyro 3 completely answers people's qualms about Moneybags in the absolutely MOST satisfying way I've ever experienced in any video game. In fact, the completion bonuses for Spyro 3 are much more satisfying just because the "bonus level" is sooooo fun.

one of the best games ever! such a tightly designed game other than maybe the camera at times. way more character than Spyro 1 and none of the weak gimmicks of Spyro 3. every inch of the game feels intentional, no fluff, just a good time

damn nice!! not too many complete its out there lmao great great job outstanding another awesome episode concise, informative, and most of all very entertaining. thank you for all your hard work tom kenny has always been one of the most impressive voice actors to me. his variety, the sheer amount of voices hes done, the length and seemingly bottomless sucess of his career is so impressive. if youre a person who has exhisted in america anytime after, like, 1989, you know tom kennys voice. in my opinion, hes up there with the likes of hank azeria, mel blanc , and seth marfarland
