The Sorceress is the only villain to not interact with Spyro verbally. Spyro did speak to Gnasty Gnorc upon defeating him, and when he returned in a Hero’s Tail they did converse before battling. Then of course Ripto, being his 2nd archenemy and all interacts with Spyro numerous times. Spyro then of course had many an interaction with the other villains, but the Sorceress he got no such revelations to her motives and overall being, the Sorceress just left herself irredeemable and without any reason to be.

Uhhhhh...the lady literally revealed in the pre-Scorch cutscene herself that she ordered the baby dragons stolen only to take their wings so she could use them for an immortalising spell, and even said that she was planning on killing them SIMPLY TO STOP THEM FROM "wriggling so much". And in a cutscene before that, it was revealed that SHE was the cause of the dragons vanishing from the lost realms, which given her dickish personality was most likely done out of pettiness. I'm pretty sure her being irredeemable was the whole point, man.

My copy of the game had the Sunrise Springs theme to it. It is as weird as it seems.

As far as im aware, the original NTSC releases were bugged. All PAL versions had Spikes Arena music. The re released Greatest Hits NTSC version is the only one with complete set of music and to me, the most definitive version. Wierdly, the re released Platinum PAL version which I owned as a kid did not have any of the new music and was no different from the original release.

+Jordan Layton I had the original PAL release and the music is the same as Spikes arena. The Platinum version (greatest hits equivialent in the UK) I still don't think had newer music even though the American version did

Mine too and afer a minute the game crashes and returning you to Sunrise Springs with all your progress wiped out. That was one of the many error the game had for the anti-piracy system Insomniac used for the ilegal copies.

Why doesn’t the sorceress have an intro cutscene?
@lisi038226 жыл бұрын
True I wander the same Ripto had one not even on the remastered had a cutscene

As far as I could remember she had way too many cutscenes. So I think it was enough for her.
@EtherealCrisp4 жыл бұрын
Nah I disagree. I thought there could have been more interactions throughout the game but I'm gutted they skipped out on a lot of cutscenes for this game. Spyro 2 had cutscenes for every level and a classic pre battle scene with Ripto. There 100% should have been a cut scene before the Sorceress battle

..... Why doesn't she roar in the remaster.
@darreylhenderson89795 жыл бұрын
I know, I hated everything about the new design of the sorceress, including her silly scream she does instead of the roar does she does here. The roar made her sound more intimidating and more monster like

Yea the scream in the PS1 version sounded horrific and monstrous and I love it. New one just doesn't feel intimidating

Darreyl Henderson cmon give some credit where it’s due, at least she isn’t as silent as a brick in the remastered, makes the fight more immersive, and imo the way she skips at you in reignited is more intense than her running at full speed at you with some squishy wet meat footsteps.
@theoracle2 Жыл бұрын
@@iamMildlyUpsetWithMostOfYouTub Hard disagree on the skipping. The skipping makes her look goofy as hell and makes it hard to take seriously when compared to her running you down. IMO, the way she runs for you in the original makes it feel like she REALLY wants to take you out. As for the squishy sound effects, I do agree that it's a bit of a strange choice, but I do like it in some weird way. This is just my assumption, but with how she's silent during this fight makes me feel like they intended it that way. It's as if The Sorceress has had enough talk, and is there for only one thing and that's to kill Spyro once and for all. With all of the cutscenes we see through the game, we see that The Sorceress doesn't like to fool around when it comes to her plans. This is reinforced by the fact that she gets angrier every time Spyro gets closer and closer to stopping her, leading her to harshly criticizing or straight up bullying Bianca or the other goons for their mistakes. Then again, I could just be looking too much into it and it could be that Insomniac ran out of time or something

I'm sorry, Spyro, but you seem to be playing a hacked version of this game. This may be an Illegal copy. Since this copy has been modified, you may experience problems that would not occur on a legal copy.

All the bosses in Spyro 3 are just kinda do overs of the Spyro 2 bosses. The 2 fights with the Sorceress are the magic fight with Ripto and dogfight (sky battle) later. Spike is a redo of Gulp. Buzz is a redo of Crush and Scorch is that robo Gulp
@neilbowes7214 Жыл бұрын
The Buzz and Scorch fights are NOTHING like the Crush and Robo Gulp fights. Buzz has you knocking into him over and over to push him into the lava around his arena while Crush had you attacking him only when he was vulnerable so he would make part of the roof cave in on him. Sure, both used fields to shield themselves, but in different ways and for different purposes. Scorch was hectic as hell, launching fireballs and enemies around the place while all Robo Gulp did was walk around and only attack when he got three orbs. The only similarities in THEIR fights were the use of projectiles to damage them, and even then it wasn't ONLY projectiles you could use in Robo Gulp's fight. As for the other fights, the only one I actually agree on is the Spike one, which is basically a more fast-paced version of Gulp's fight. The other fights were more like upgraded (in the first Sorceress fight's case) and downgraded (in the second one's case) versions of Ripto's phases, with the Sorceress using more attacks and different methods to be beaten, and both of you using UFOs to shoot each other down.
