The climb is available only after you open the door by the fawn when you've collected all the six summer forest talismans. Not sure if you need Moneybags to bring down the wall for 400 gems first or not.

Yes you do need to pay 400 gems first to lower the wall

I actually much prefer the second one and I've only played a few hours into it. Theres so much to do, all these cool mini-games, its not just looting anymore its looting and doing fun stuff. Backtracking is kind of annoying but you can teleport easily enough so it doesnt matter too much

This sequel does suck. If I have to go on a youtube video to know where to go you know that's when the game failed. Even the puzzles suck. The repetitive dialog especially when you already went through it.
