It's incredible that we're getting new Spyro music 24 years after the game's release, and I love this track, but at the same time I can understand why it wasn't used. This sounds a lot more frantic and fast-paced than you'd expect from the gameplay of the Sparx levels, so the final track works better imo. This would be perfect for a speedway though!

It sounds unfinished, because it might just be, but I like the slightly spooky tones they were going for. It does definitely feel too fast-paced for just a Sparx level.

We speculated that Ryan may have had some unused material alongside Cherry and Grape because some tracks Copeland never actually saw in their final state (a good example being Enchanted Towers, which he described as a "remix"). I'm glad to see we were kind of right!

Someone needs to do a custom hack copy of YoTD with these unused tracks actually used in the levels intended and make it available for us all to download and play.

with seemingly 3 out of 4 Sparx levels' music tracks having been found, was there ever any evidence of Bugbot Factory ever having its own theme at any point? Maybe this is already known but frankly I've kind of lost track

As far as I can tell the title theme was probably intended for Bugbot? It does have a bit of a “Factory” vibe to it imo. In this build, it uses Crystal Islands’ theme, and Crystal Islands uses the title theme - I don’t think this was intended though, so if they’d accidentally switched these two tracks it would suggest the title theme was intended for use in Bugbot. Why it’s also used as a title theme though, I dunno

@@Hwd405 This is a complete shot in the dark theory but could Caravan have been Bugbot Factory's theme at one point? It's the only song on the official OST release where we don't know it's origins or where it could've been used, so maybe it was a Sparx theme like the other themes of unknown origin (Cherry/Grape) until this prototype released?

@@TheJcw555 Caravan was almost certainly for Spyro 2, and I’m doubtful it was even a normal level theme (probably more likely a minigame theme?)
