@@sdetpavan set autocommit=0; use studentinfo; select * from student; insert into student values(12,'Bharath',86,4); delete from student where SlNo=12; rollback; Sir even after i disable autocommit in my_sql all above queries work without commit and i couldnt rollback and get back the deleted data too. Can u please what could be the issue?

I didn't know about the auto commit feature so I deleted a row and tried roll back but nothing happened. Is there a way to restore old database after DML transaction even if auto commit was set to 1? I used show databases command through command line but it returned empty even though there are four databases. Any idea about that?
