Square Bowl CNC Easy Instructions

Made this bowl from one I had seen and a lot of people were asking how this was done. Here is a short total on the procedure.

Nice design, thanks for sharing. To make your estimated time closer go to the tool path window and click on the clock icon and under the settings set the scale factor to 1. You only have to do this once, the software will remember it.

Hi is there a part one of this square bowl that shows how you drew in 2d then started the modeling in the 3d tab? I have done some 3d files but not done any 3d modeling. I have the same bowl drawn up to a square and have a grid on it but how do I set the depths of cut in the 3d area. Unless I am missing the obvious? Thanks

Hi, thanks for a video. But is it possible to optimise the second fluting toolpath? I mean that the first fluting cut took out most of the material and the second one is more time playing above the leftover than actually cuts it.. ??

I really Like this and I tried doing the fluting tool path on a different project. but it just flutes the edge/ perimeter of the rectangle. what could I be doing wrong ? I am using Vectric V Carve Pro 10.5 Thank you in advance

@@thewoodmaster Yeah I am having the same problem too. I want to do 12mm wide flute and only have 6mm. How do we make a wider flute. Like the previous comment saying it goes around the edge and not clean it out. Is there a way to do that. What you did is actually what I wanted and need to know. Thank you
