That chain was ripping! Did you use a Salomon stone to grind that? And did you have to change up your angles.. I'm going to try that

Honestly, I left my angles the same, and yes, I used the salmon stone. It's really noticeable in the bigger cuts. Thanks for watching, brotha 🤙

I had the same question. In theory it’s awesome because top handles shouldn’t be hitting metal/rocks around the stump Gonna try that this week. Poplar can you hand file a square ground chain?

@craigo1764 Hey Craig. I haven't hand filed any square because the double beveled files were out of stock everywhere. I finally got fed up and got the grinder. I'm sure it would be easy to learn. I will probably still get some for touch-ups in the field.

Sweeeet…. Wonder how that would work on my T540i? Oh and I ended up doing close to 900M of fence line this weekend with my spanky new 545FX, crazy being able to just smash thru 4” poplar and alder, lots of jam just need to keep the blade sharp and set the teeth every now and then!… I’m using the Scarlett 200-22 chisel tooth blades… but I need to read the manual because it is a royal pain to start hot or cold.
