Should check out the 6th Sense Curve Finesse Squarebill. Smaller profile and dives 1-3 ft. An odd SB technique that works for me fishing out the back of the boat as a co-angler is fishing it like a jerk bait. I reel it down to the right depth, pause, jerk jerk, pause, reel in.

I’ve not had that much success this year but I’m willing to try this. I’m a bank fisherman who hopes this will work in my local ponds.
@flannel8724 жыл бұрын
Remember, when your bank fishing pretend your bow hunting for fish. Thoroughly and stealthily cover that water right in front of you first; consider your clothing to break up your silhouette on outings. Grey for cloudy days, light blue for clearer days, & consider camo/flannel/dull colors to mask your silhouette when your immediate background isn't so open. Walking right up to the edge and trying to bomb a cast to the opposite bank in a neon green shirt will decrease the amount of action you get. Be methodical, and remember fish can see out of the water very well, and that sound travels 5 times faster in water than in air. Be the apex predator, and check your drag settings before that first cast.

Temps in Ga randomly dropped to low 60s night only hitting mid 70s in day. Couldnt catch anything early so I just sat and watched. Noticed schooled fish swimming by the bank in a V, almost a chain of comand type thing. Waited and noticed blow ups near the bank. They were hearding those shad into the shallows. Cught a spot and a 3lb larg in 3 cast. I guess my point is dont get frustrated just sit watch and listen. Sometimes Nature will let you know what to do.
