THE WOLF! It's amazing how much of a mental edge Matthew has over Willstrop. They've always been ranked similarly, but Matthew dominates their rivalry.

i wonder how many more times these two will play in a final i wanted willstrop to win this match but you cannot deny matthew played very well.

Tactically he was flawless, his length and width to get it to those back corners every time was masterful! Good to see Willstrop moving well out there though, coming off that game against Gaultier I think he just got exhausted.

Ahh too bad but gotta respect it. And yes, if I were up 2-0 x-0 against Willstrop, I'd keep fighting every point too - it's respect for your opponent's ability to come back (just ask Gaultier) Hope Willstrop can keep up his form so we can get more of these!

Great match! Where did all the Egyptians go? Boycotted?
@ChineseMexicans8 жыл бұрын
kusakay the points aren't enough to warrant them entering

It's not a World Series event so the top players can choose whether to enter or not. Many of the top Egyptian players have chosen to enter the Channel Vas tournament at St George's Hill starting on Thursday (which we'll be covering)

No matter what happens, wilstrop is the best English player I've ever seen!

Ramy Shaaban same

Ramy Shaaban hmm debatable, wilstrop just makes it look so difficult, Matthew has always been consistent, always looks the better player. If the Egyptians were in the tournament I'd put my money on Matthew to be up there still

Rochelle Lilian exactly. Because apart from his humble agility, his squash is art

Why don't we see any players from Pakistan? What's criterion for entering in World Series Events?
@ArslanAlihanafi8 жыл бұрын
Are you kidding me?
@andres1903938 жыл бұрын
The criterion is the ranking points, when you start to compete as proffesional you have no points and you only can play the lowest ranked tournaments (5k) if you made good result on the you win points and increases your ranking so you can play better tournaments, if there is no Pakistanies on World Series Events it is mainly becouse their result in lower tournaments are not that good..., although some Pakistani juniors are doing pretty well recently, maybe you´ll have a top ten player in the next 3 or 5 years.

Where did you get this information??, many Pakistanis players play tournaments all over the world
