Yes, they both played semis the day before. However, Ramy had a relatively easy time with Greg Gaultier winning 3-0 (11,8,7) while Mo had a marathon with Nick Matthew, winning 3-2 ((9),7,6,(4),3)

pritch68 I never understand why they don't give finalists 1 day to recover or get prepared.

HamSupZhai All comes down to money. PSA tournaments are run on a shoestring budget, and an extra "rest day" just isn't in the budget. Same goes for those who complain that SquashTV doesn't broadcast in full HD (although I find the resolution quite good) - people don't understand that sponsor $ just aren't there for pro squash (yet).

elshorbagy was completely worn out by Ramy in the first two games, especially the first where he won 17-15.

Yes
