I lived in the area that Khan is from, met him many times at the athletic track, he would show up to run a few laps for fitness. This is early 2000s when he was retired already.

Yes that was a great video, thaks PSA SquashTV. Jansher to me is the greatest squash player there ever was. In this match, Rodney comes across as abituva sore loser. Poor sportsmanship.

Pakistan = The most successful Muslim country in sports. World Champions in Squash (10x), Hockey (4x), and Cricket (1x) between 1971 and 1990s. The last time Pakistan won a big tournament was in 1996. The year was the end of the golden era in sports for the country. I was lucky enough to watch some of the winning world cup matches during the era. Future generations in the country, I believe, will never experience such happiness for one's country due to the incompetence and corruption in local sports.

Andres Fernandez Cabrera Respectfully, Jansher would hammer him. All the best players in recent years acknowledge Jansher to be the greatest. He’s past his best here. There is a clip on KZbin where Peter Nicol is in no doubt who’s the greatest. Jansher was world senior and junior champion in the same year. His career winning record is immeasurably better than Ramy Ashours.

Lilly Sayles The tin is higher. Rallies are quicker and more intense. Jansher was deceptively brilliant. Really tight. Best mover in the game ever. You can only compare them in relation to what they did to their contemporaries. Jansher annihilated most of his. The Super series events were 8 events. One particular year Jansher won all 8. Won all matches 3-0. Longest match 42 minutes. Ramy is on record saying Jansher was the greatest. Jansher would tie him up. I saw him best a player ranked 20 in the World 9-0,9-0,9-0 in a tournament match. Ramy’s racket skills are sublime, I’ll admit.

The rackets Jansher had to play with takes way more skill to control the ball. So a better racket Jansher has the better strokes and discipline

Jansher adjusted his game for as long as he could so he would never face injuries. Imagine playing at his level with out injuries, In fact most of the Khan's played so well they never delt with injuries. That truly says something about their game, To play squash at such a high level without injury. That takes true talent and to win!
