Fantastic game obviously (great attack vs defense matchup!) and thankfully mostly excellent refereeing, especially the appropriate uses of video review. Player video reviews + ref video reviews have really improved the fairness of the game! The only exception here is, as commentator Parke said, the video reviewer should certainly have caught Coll's glaringly down ball at 17:50. But that's just one blip.

Video ref and/or central ref screwed up. You can hear the central ref say after watching the replay the ball was "definitely good" when it definitely was not good. My guess is either they watched the wrong hit (not the one in question) or their eyes are not very good. On the assumption it was good (when it was actually not) the ref is calling a let because he interfered with the play by calling down a ball that supposedly was not. Extremely pathetic that a video replay system overturned a correct decision and a bit disappointing that Coll didn't call his own ball down if he watched the replay.

What? he failed to call only the one pickup after momens boast, which he was hitting when the ball was close to the wall. u can see that he hit the wall and floor and ball all at once and from experience i know u rlly can have no idea wether u got it or not... and he was honest on all other pickups... even the 27:40 gameball which referees didnt call.

Lucas, completely disagree with you here. You must know it that situation, ball in the nik, it's very difficult to know whether or not the ball was down. It went to Video Review and they confirmed it...

But the video ref got it wrong and Coll went along with the video ref decision even though he would have been watching the replay just like the rest of us. I think Coll is an honest player but it's hard to believe Coll watched the replay and also either didn't see it properly or saw it wrong like the ref's did. Surely the video ref was the only person in the building who saw the ball as good... or do they not show replay decisions to the players anymore?
