Like the videos man! Quick question...just started focusing on strength doing standard 5x5 workouts adding 5lbs each session. At what point would you implement this squat routine? My goal is to continue 5x5 until I hit 1.5x my body weight. Any thoughts?

Great vid Dan! Curious on your thoughts on wearing lifters when back squatting. Noticed you wearing Nano 2s during this sesh. Has it been you experience that you can squat heavier with lifters vs. Nanos or perhaps Chucks (just any shoe with less heel elevation)? Speaking personally, I just feel more comfortable at the bottom and coming out of the bottom when wearing lifters and so I only wear them when it’s a dedicated back squat heavy day.

My hamstrings are super tight. How can ı loosen them? And ı couldn't do any kind of exercise because of the plague and some other reasons. I could 140 kg for 3 reps (squat), now ı can't do double with 110 kg. What is the best exerciseses to recover? What should ı do to recover faster

hello sir, so when i do back squat or front squat i normally do sets of 5x5 from Light to heavy weight. i start with 35lbs and increase weight by 10lbs as i move on to the next set. im looking to increase my strenght and muscle mass, being doing this for past 2weeks. will this help me get there or am i wasting my time? i weigh 175lbs and i max weight currently was 180lbs for back squat. thank you

I couldn't do a proper workout since February and ı didn't do any since the plague (it started on April in Turkiye) first ı lost weight, than ı gained like two kgs higher than my normal (66 to 62 than 68) now ı started to workout, I weight 67. I understand that ı get tired fast, get out of breath easily etc. But o can't do my squat form properly. I can't lock my shoulders in jerk, ı can't even do a muscle up ( ı could do it easily) . What happened to me! My jeans are too wide for me now, but before ı was thinking about getting new ones because they were too tight :D. I lost a lot of muscle, ı don't want to eat ı don't now why

Travis Boothe below parallel is my standard. I stretch and increase range of motion around multiple joints to hit that standard. Squatting below parallel is also the most functional, because life requires it.
