I signed up for Guinea Pig Magazine right after you mentioned it in your Patreon post, close to a year ago. I love getting each issue but with you in the magazine, I can hardly wait to see it. Two years ago I lived under the belief that I was one of the very few who cared about guinea pigs. Now I can see that hundreds care. Probably thousands. Of course everyone else are the people who get tired of their pigs and dump them in parks or surrender to shelters. If education and support continues, one day all pigs will be safe. I love my boys and am so happy to have them but I wish the pet trade would disappear tomorrow. 🎉🎉🎉

I have those hay balls! My piggies LOVE them. We had visitors today. My boys and I have turned my boyfriend into a lover of guineas. He saved 2 from going to the shelter this week. He treats my boys great, but never thought he would get 2 of his own. It's been a lot of fun this past week teaching him and learning the piggies' personality's.

The magazine you featured in was the one where the photos of my boys was in the pig mail bit! ❤ I started watching your videos about twelve hours after I haphazardly acquired two very untamed ten wheek old guinea pigs. It's almost (29th) a year later. Quite happy to report that, in no small part thanks to your videos, they're now fully grown fourteen month old fluffballs who are extremely tame and snuggly and funny. ❤😂

I do it every 2-3 days to keep scent in it so they know to toilet there, but also keep it hygienic! 😊

I make sure I put a new pile of hay in at breakfast time, and then, every evening, I remove it all and clean it out, removing the old hay and newspaper and completely refresh everything.

Gotta 6 week old bottle raised baby pig. She’s gonna be my emotional support animal, but I can’t get her to eat ANY veggies. I’ve tried several at once, one at a time, left the bowl all day, and a night once. She won’t eat anything but hay and feed.. do I need to remove the bag feed and get her to try it? Or just keep at it like I’m going? Any and all help welcome and appreciated! Absolutely love the channel btw! Gear content and very watchable, and well made. Definitely worth the sub 🐹

Hi i‘m really confused about the diet that piggy‘s need. In my country in switzerland research says that fresh leafy greens should be the majority of their diet. But on UK sites it says that they need a lot of hay, like you say as well. How often do you feed your piggys and how much veggy‘s do you give them? Thanks for your support

Just make sure you've done your research (into the negatives as well as the positives) of being a piggie owner, they are a big responsibility and take a lot of work - demonstrate you've done your research, show them what you'll need in terms of cage, accessories etc when you get them, how you're going to pay (or how much they should be prepared to pay) etc. 😊
