My mom just had a stroke this morning and can barely talk now, and was diagnosed with metastasized cancer that spread all over her. Because I'm not allowed to visit for too long, I'm trying to find places to cope with what's going on. I have to run her company while she's gone and probably indefinitely if I'm being honest with myself. It's a lot. I'm sorry for trauma dumping. I just feel like I don't have any where to say this or person to talk to at the moment. I'll look into a therapist tomorrow. Binging wine about it episodes today has helped a lot. Thank you.

I don't know why I feel like typing this, but I will. The RROD on the Xbox 360 was a colossal failure, BUT there was a permanent fix which I found online. The problem was that the clamp that held the CPU on was in the shape of an X and it pulled on the motherboard at the corners of the CPU, causing the motherboard to bend and break solder connections to the CPU. If you removed the X clamp and got the right size washers and screws, you could fix the problem by having 4 screws straight on instead of the X clamp pulling at the corners. Then, you purposely overheat it ONE TIME (via something like the towel trick), and the solder would melt and repair itself permanently. I fixed 3 Xbox 360s this way. Maybe this will help communities that still use Xbox 360s like the Penis Star League... idk. Good luck!

Sometimes when I hear bigger creators talking about coming up and finding success, I get so down about things. I've been doing KZbin since 2014, and I've streamed consistently 4-5 days a week for the past 5 years, yet I've never had more than ~10 average viewers. I love doing it, but sometimes I wonder if I'm just unlikeable, and if I've been wasting my life away doing something I'll never be good at. I've tried networking, making edited highlight videos, putting on events with bigger streamers, trying games w/ broad appeal, focusing on more niche things, etc. etc... Maybe I really am just not cut out for it. Anyways, thanks for the listen, the podcast was great

33:42 Me and my brother grew up with Mario 64 on the ds, which is the same game with a couple extra levels and yoshi, luigi, and wario as extra playable characters. We didn't look much up on the internet so I feel like I can chime in. We didn't speak English yet, so we were stuck at Bowser 1 until my brother asked our dad to translate, and Bowser actually says "Mario you will never be able to grab my tail and throw me into the bombs muahaha!" lmao Two obstacles that took a long time to figure out were draining the castle's water moat (have to ground pound the basement pillars) and killing the eye enemies (run circles around them). Most stars we could get even if we didn't understand the exact tech behind it, like entering tick tock clock at the right time. Then we played the game for a very very long time without ever unlocking the power flower (wing cap), I think we ended up using a youtube walkthrough. After that we were able to get every single star on our own except one: cannonless. It's actually called "Blast away the wall", which I'll never forget for the rest of my life. I asked my mom to translate and then stumbled upon the solution relatively quickly. But for so long it was the only missing piece
