Squeeze chute is great. It makes me think back lassoing, tieing them to tree, stout fence or whatever. Then roping back leg, tieing off for a little more control. Then reversing all that to unleash an angry, confused cow. This chute will be super. Looking for more videos. videos.

I have never seen so many congratulatory comments for a single KZbin video. I add my good wishes as well. Well done! There can only ever be one occasion when an animal has the privilege of being “First Through The Chute”. I share the thought in a couple other comments that it would be a happy memory if Buddy was to have that honour. I understand and agree with a couple of other comments - about having a roof over the chute, and having water available at the chute. I feel that these enhancements would offer considerable long term benefits. The chute represents a significant financial investment, and a weatherproof shelter over it will give valuable protection to it. But there are other real benefits. The chute will sometimes be needed during a veterinary procedure - whether for assisting in the delivery of a calf, or treating an injured or sick animal. These events may occur during unpleasant weather, and good shelter all around the chute will give comfort to the animals as well as to you.
