Great stuff, although the pic to illustrate gig is the wrong line-up. Paul Carrack had replaced Jools Holland at this point - that's him singing lead on Too Many Teardrops.

Seen Squeeze at Glasgow Tiffanies in December 1981...A Flock of Seagulls were the support .Cant remember Tempted being played ,but I'm pretty sure Paul Carrack had left by this time.I seem to remember Squeeze interviews in the music press {NME,Sounds ,Record Mirror...} at the time were they voiced there dissappointment about his departure from the band..Been to a few Squeeze and Glen Tilbrook gigs over the years but the concert at Tiffanies was probably the best I've seen them play .

This has to be before they decided to release "Temped" as a single. It's definitely Paul Carrack on keyboard. I can tell because he plays a part of "Another Nail in my Heart" differently than the original (where the lyrics are "sympathetic friend" there are too many notes). It bugs me. 😂 Some of the subsequent keyboard players did it too. Stephen Large does it correctly, though.

I remember seeing Squeeze around this time supported by A Flock of Seagulls at The Rainbow theatre Finsbury Park, (I think) AFOS got beer canned off stage!
