0:09 I bought a toothbrush, some toothpaste A flannel for my face Pajamas, a hairbrush New shoes and a case I said to my reflection "Let's get out of this place" Passed the church and the steeple The laundry on the hill Billboards and the buildings Memories of it still Keep calling and calling But forget it all, I know I will Tempted by the fruit of another Tempted but the truth is discovered What's been going on Now that you have gone There's no other Tempted by the fruit of another Tempted but the truth is discovered I'm at the car park, the airport The baggage carousel (The people keep on grindin') Ain't wishing I was well I said it's no occasion (It's no story I could tell) At my bedside empty pocket A foot without a sock Your body gets much closer I fumble for the clock Alarmed by the seduction I wish that it would stop Tempted by the fruit of another Tempted but the truth is discovered What's been going on Now that you have gone There's no other Tempted by the fruit of another Tempted but the truth is discovered I bought a novel, some perfume A fortune all for you But it's not my conscience That hates to be untrue I asked of my reflection Tell me what is there to do? Tempted by the fruit of another Tempted but the truth is discovered What's been going on Now that you have gone There's no other Tempted by the fruit of another Tempted but the truth is discovered Tempted by the fruit of another Tempted but the truth is discovered Tempted by the fruit of another Tempted but the truth is discovered Tempted by the fruit of another Tempted but the truth is discovered🎤🎶

I see people not giving a fuck. I could be very wrong. But, I think I understand that the choice of Paul as the lead singer for this song was not one made by the band but the producers. So, what I think I see is some discontent from the other band members. I mean, D&T were the writers and singers for so much of the body of work and then for a producer to decide that Paul was the better voice for this song (not incorrectly, IDK who it was that decided, but they were right) had to sting.

‘80s music videos were an interesting breed, many of the earliest ones were usually videos like this of artists just goofing around on a soundstage with no real concept or plot. No gimmicks or flashy set pieces needed, really. They didn’t have to be like short films or anything like that. Much simpler times.

Thank God the radio didn't slam it in the ground and played it a million times the first week it was out. This was one you caught every once in a while and made you stop and listen. Being Zeppelin, /Sabbath/ Dead Head from birth, to flip genres was grounds for excommunication from my peers. But they knew I had great taste in music and followed suit.

I was in an airport in Australia when I was 11 or 12. There was a comedy group doing a routine in the middle of the airport. I found it unnerving. Australian locals found it entertaining. I had just come from an airport in Toronto where I had just been scolded for using the word bomb in a sentence. These guys at the Sydney airport were fooling around, having a good time, and Australian people thought nothing of it. My father and I (both American) were un nerved by these antics. The TWA hijacking had just happened a year or 2 before. Seeing this improv comedy group erupting in the terminal put us both on edge. They were making as scene, and everybody was into it. My dad and I didn't see the humour in it until about a day and a half later.
