I saw the number of views and subscribers and thought to myself that watching this video would be a waste of time. I've learned about the squeeze theorem a couple of times since 2020, but I never understood its importance and where to start. The part where you advised us to start with a function that has upper and lower limits astronomically informed me of something I had never known. Thank you very much, sir! I have already subscribed to the channel. You really know what you are doing and I like your vibe too lol

It was interesting how you brought on the Squeeze Theorem subtly to solve this limit problem and showed it's utility. However, as you said, there is a way to do this problem without this- which is straightforward if you divide out the numerator and denominator by x^2, and then consider EACH of the resultant 2 expressions as x--> infinity. It is quite clear that the first expression will tend to 4 and the cos 5x/x^2 will tend to zero. So, we get 4 as the answer.

Thank you! I have to take the AP Calc Exam on tomorrow and I never really understood what my teacher meant by this (mainly because I wasn't exactly paying attention during that lesson), but you explained it pretty well. And it's nice that you didn't just take a simplistic function and instead showed something that commonly shows up.

...A very good day to you Newton, First of all I hope you are well. I missed you on KZbin this week ; please don't take this too personally, because I understand very well that people who work hard want to take a break every now and then. I thought your presentation on the squeeze theorem (sandwich theorem) was excellently clear, where literally and figuratively no bread spreads such as peanut butter and jelly can be added (lol). I always have a bit of trouble making comments, even when asked, as long as you know that I share my observations purely from a positive, constructive attitude; I maintain respect for other people's creations above all else! I personally think the squeeze theorem is one of those fantastic intellectual inventions of mathematicians! I hope to see some of your enthusiasm again soon in your future presentations, and wishing you the best of luck... Thank you for all of your inspiring math efforts, Jan-W

Hello Jan-W, Good to hear from you. I actually needed to take a break from making videos. I was getting too busy. Your comments are absolutely helpful. I took time to try your method of finding limits of surds (instead of multiplying by the conjugate). It wasmpleasing to see how smart your trick was. I'm enjoying KZbin because of people like you who make constructive contributions. I'll be back soon with a video. Thanks.
