They're the original Chrome Knickers. We just started making them again after popular demand. Here's a link - www.chromeindustries.com/product/blake-cycling-knicker-pant/AP-404.html?

+Sam Essien I'd guess 48 / 16 I'm riding 42 / 16 (pretty steep hills here!) daily and reach 40km/h in traffic easily and 48/16 when i'm doing longer tours with not so much height difference.
@monsieuressien8 жыл бұрын
+CRacer1995 Mines 46/19 with all the hills here. I thought he'd be using something lower.

fixed gear with disc brakes ? how is that possible ?

That bike isn't a fixed gear.

At 1:40 it switches dudes, and the second guy does not have a fixed gear. It is modified to be single speed, but that is it, not fixed. You can see him coasting at some parts.

I had a fixed gear bike whit front disc brake.....nothing special

fixed gear while it is snowing, I'm sure someone has done it, but I would not do it, skidding in a slippery surface will be of another level of riding danger.............

Might want to raise your seat height a bit so you are closer to extension. Personally I'd rather just wear a carbon fiber soled shoe, it's faster and wastes less energy.
@alonzomartii6 жыл бұрын
findingmycenter That's if you want to ride and not delivered. Try running up the stairs and inside of smooth floors.
@louisphilippe20764 жыл бұрын
Don't ever mind the energy loss, nail me a carbon-soled shoe you can wear 10 hours a day 6 days a week with a minimum of comfort. These guys out there make in two days on fixie bikes with loaded cargo bags the distance you make in one week on your fancy carbon bike with your more rigid carbon-soled shoes. Beeing a noob don't prevent from showing some respect!
@living4adrenaline4 жыл бұрын
@@louisphilippe2076 I would never buy a carbon fiber frame bike. Aluminum is more comfortable and has abbetter feel than a carbon mountainbike. Personally I'd go with steel all day because it's repairable! Loic Bruni runs an Aluminum frame for a reason. Weight, especially with mountainbikes, is overrated. No need to be a weight weenie, I run the cheapest and heaviest driveline components I can find because they wear out on several months anyhow. The most important thing is proper frame geometry and suspension, dont skimp on those two. Also tires. I have a single speed with a welded chainstay, the frame will love for decades! You are right re carbon soles, my point is you want a stiff soled shoe for the most efficient power transfer, it doesn't necessarily need to be carbon. Ha!

I prefer diamond studded shoe, but for a messenger wages it would take me 100 years to pay for it :D besides I could get mugged :D
