That just means there isn't a really big market for having your mini;s pained by someone else, a lot people interested in mini's are in it at least in part for the hobbying, so that already eliminates a bunch of people in an already niche market.

@beric0bartman what art medium and/or type of art collection isn't "niche" and instead "mainstream"? Sure, there's a small collection of those breakout artists in every medium, but in general, professional miniature painters are highly undervalued and generally aren't taken too seriously in the world of fine art. That has slowly been changing in the last few years, but we have a long way to go.

@@ibaiminiatures it was amazing artwork. the osl of magenta/pink was a great choice and executed so well. Then there were the subtle tones in the face, hair. I mean, the eyes had pupils, iris, AND a damn glint! I think squidmar was looking for some weird catch that wasn’t there. If they were objective there was nothing close.

Today I met at Bacelona Stan V from the fiverr Zik Miniatures. He painted the same mini as me, the female elf. I can't stress enough how nice this guy is!!!!!!!! So god damn sweet and smart and funny and sooooooo polite, I am used to Spanish, Italian and French people, and Stan is so nice. We had an amazing chat about life, miniatures he showed me a couple amazing paitjobs he is working on. Man I have to get my act together or this guy is going to "pass me by the right" (literal translation of Spanish saying), Anyways it was so nice to meet him and talk also about the video and all that stuff. If by any chance you have the opportunity to meet him do not hesitate.

Cool video guys, love it when you show off some of the other amazing artists out there. You should do a video where you each paint the same mini a few times to the standards you would expect from a 30$, 50$, 100$, 200$ commission. Send them to a friend of the channel that also paints mini's and get them to guess who did which paint job and for how much. Keep up the cool content and I'm trying so hard to save the money for all 3 of your paint sets

Honestly I guessed right away that the Ibai miniatures would be the best; just looking at the face and the eyes, plus the amazing pink metal; by far my favorite. I also guessed the 30 euro paintjob correctly, just because the face and feet weren't great, plus it had a bunch of dust on it. All great painters though!

Everybody does with with white primer, contrast paints and metallic paint with not much shadow and light work and it doesn't look any good. Looking at the $250 mini, I've got to ask... where's the vibrant purple in your new paint sets?! I love Vallejo paints and your work, so a curated paint set would be perfect, but I need more of what is objectively the best color.

It was mainly the kimera violet and then mixed with many other brands and colors, i use all brands. On this case the violet is so intense that you dont lose almost any saturation going up in light

As we sent out 3d prints that are fragile. Them breaking in shipping is quite common. We just sucked at gluing it together, not the painters fault.

because they usually are all grainy, but the naked eye does not se that grain. But you put a 8k camera and you will see everylittle stroke and grain etc. Is normal

The 250 one had lip liner, no disrespect to our female viewers but many real women don't know how to use this (basically moisturising cream on lips, then line, use brush to apply lipstick and then translucent powder, it will last all night).
