See, what got me was at the very end, when it said that the subtitles were sponsored by the United States Department of Education. As if there's anything educational about SpongeBob SquarePants to begin with. The Journal of Pediatrics, which is a peer-reviewed medical journal, made the claim that it isn't educational. They conducted this test on four-year-olds by having some of them watch SpongeBob for nine minutes while having other children watch slower-paced cartoons or draw. They found that the children who watched SpongeBob performed worse on cognitive tests than the children who watched a slower-paced cartoon or drew. They said that the fast-paced nature of SpongeBob SquarePants makes it hard for kids to pay attention.

25:52 “Are you sure?” “I don’t like your tone Katie” “-higher pitched- Are~ you~ sure~?” would’ve been incredible but then the episode would’ve gotten cut short not from Gordon walking out but from Amy catching a charge and going to jail or having to deal with court shit that leads to Samy getting deported. I really think one of the motivations for one of the *crew* to intervene was not wanting any of that footage that first night and the obvious potential of this episode to be completely canceled by one of the owners catching an assault charge.

I wear velcro shoes, and I'm not the least bit ashamed to admit it. I haven't worn laces in almost 20 years. It's not that I can't tie them, I just find it very inefficient. Even when they're tied well, they can still be undone pretty easily if they get caught on something. Velcro only comes off if you use your hands. Plus, it saves time. If you have the straps adjusted just right, you can slip into and out of your shoes without using your hands.

I never untie my everyday shoes. They fit snug, but can easily slide on & off. My boots and nice shoes are slide-ons. I've never had bad enough luck that my shoelaces untie themselves, or get caught on anything. My habit is to knot the loops too if they're long enough, and same with the ends of the laces if they still touch the ground after tying.

And as it turned out, the band that made the song actually had a lot more to do with SpongeBob being a show than even they actually realized, especially since they had almost nothing to do with the show. I have always bought my shoes from Walmart. I have only 2 pairs I didn't buy from there. 1 pair of Nike someone gave me and I bought a pair of Limited Edition Jurassic Park Explorer Reebok's.
